YOONGI'S APARTMENT - 5: 30 AM

The sun still has to rise high in the clear morning as Taehyung stands before Yoongi's door, his fist raised to knock for what felt like the hundredth time. He's really too buzzing with energy to wait, though he knows it's early.

As the door finally creaks open, he finds Yoongi just out of bed, all sleepy, with his hair tousled to a mess, half-naked, of course. Sweatpants hanging off his hips, in all their glory. Baring the sharp lines of his toned torso. And. Taehyung's brain just kind of short-circuits for a moment.

"I know the view is amazing, but can I help you, or are you just here to ogle?" comes Yoongi's deadpan from by the doorframe, even if there is a little tug at the corner of his lips, plainly amused.

"Hyung!" Taehyung interjects, rolling his eyes and shrugging off the jab. "Do you know what you missed while you were busy jet-setting across continents and sipping espresso in fancy cafes?"

Yoongi takes a step back, opening the door fully wide for Taehyung to step in. "Enlighten me," he utters, reaching for a T-shirt – only he never makes to actually put it on as Taehyung comes sidestepping into his apartment like he owns the place, flopping onto Yoongi's couch like he's been personally invited, legs spread and arms in the air.

"Ah, you wouldn't believe it! Jimin and Jungkook—our so-called sworn enemies, who were at each other's throats for years—turns out they are playing us this whole time! And all romantic now, 'babydoll' this and 'princess' that, and acting like they didn't make us think they were about to kill each other every other week!" His eyes are comical, voice is like he is letting know the top notch secret.

Yoongi chuckles quietly and makes his way to the kitchen. "Jimin and Jungkook, huh? Everyone saw it but you."

Taehyung pouts, all confused. Yoongi finally pulls on his T-shirt, a glint of mischief still simultaneously twinking in his eyes as he pours coffee into two mugs. He brings one over to Taehyung, smirks, and says, "Want to feel even more left out? I already talked to Jimin about it before everything went down."

Taehyung almost spills his coffee. "You knew?!"

"Uh, yeah," Yoongi replies casually, shifting into the view of Taehyung's instant noodle-filled frame. "And I told Jimin I had wanted to ask you for marriage way before all this hell broke loose. And he gave me his blessing."

Taehyung freezes, eyes rounding on Yoongi as if he's grown yet another head. "What..You mean this seriously? This isn't a joke? Jeez."

Yoongi smiles properly this time, soft and sincere, but there's still an edge behind the words. "Dead serious. You've been driving me insane for years, Tae. I figured it was about time I did something about it."

Taehyung blinks, his mind spinning at the sincerity behind Yoongi's words, and instead of the usual quip, he blurts out, "You're proposing with a coffee mug?"

The grin on Yoongi's face turns wicked. "You love coffee more than diamonds anyway, right?"

Taehyung snorts, the sass in him reactivating at full power. "Well, you're dead wrong. But if this is your idea of a proposal, you've got another thing coming, Min Yoongi. I'm expecting dates and flowers... hell, I want a whole parade!"
