Reunited

     It's been 12 years since Nico last saw Bianca. 

     Nico was sitting at a McDonald's waiting for his order when a young Italian-looking girl sat next to him waiting for her order. She looked about 11, she had black hair, as dark as his, black eyes, like his, and her smile looked so familiar.

     She was smiling down at a drawing of a young boy. Her drawing looked like her, black hair, black eyes, Italian features, and a she drew him with a small, faint, yet similar smile. She pulled a pen out of her pocket and uncapped it, she stared at it for a few seconds, as if she was waiting for it to do something, then started making edits to her drawing. Then some girls walked in, probably friends, and started talking to her.

     "Hey Bianca!" they said.

     "Oh, hi Kacey. Hi Jem." she replied

     While they talked, Nico thought, "...Bianca... what if... no... it can't be... but maybe... no... she wouldn't even remember me... but... no...-" his thoughts were interrupted when he heard the girls ask her, "So whatcha working on?"

     Bianca looked down at her drawing, showed it to the girls and said, "His name," she paused and smiled, "... his name is Nico."

     The girls smiled," Cool! He looks like you." they looked at her then the drawing, "Wow, that's amazing... well we gotta go now. Bye! We'll see ya later!"

     They left and she turned to Nico and he turned to her, they locked eyes and she said, just loud enough for the both of them to hear, "Hi Nico..." She held his hand for a second then grabbed her food and left. "Bye..." she smiled sadly.

     He watched her go until he couldn't see her anymore. Still facing her direction, he whispered to himself, holding back a single tear, "...Bianca..."
