New Year's With The 7

*I hope you all had an awesome and safe New Year's!! Let's bring in 2017!!! WOO!!! I also hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!*

     The seven were spending New Year's Eve at Percy's along with Nico, Rachel, Grover and Reyna. They all squished on the couch, all snuggled together in a blanket, and sipped on hot chocolate while they watched a horror movie. But to the seven, especially after all they've been through, this "horror" movie was much more of a comedy actually.

     They'd laugh at how fake the blood was, or how fake all the weapons were. They'd even make fun of the actors and how they would NOT be able to survive any of that if it was real.

     "Oh look! She's going to open the door! I wonder what's behind that door?" Leo would mock.

     "It's a hideous beast!" Percy would chime.

     "With a head made of paper and glue!" Nico would shriek!

     Everyone would laugh and commentate throughout the whole movie. Eventually the movie ended and they all circled up and played Monopoly. And that never ends well. Annabeth always wins. Leo burns the money. Piper charm speaks to win auctions. Grover chewed on the pieces. Nico and Annabeth always end up arguing. Percy spills his drink all over the board. Jason and Frank just watch in horror. Reyna and Rachel are smart enough to watch from a distance, and Hazel just wants to play UNO.

     And that's why Sally has five more boards in the closet along with at least three of every other board game that the they usually play and destroy.

     11:55p.m.

     "Guys!" Rachel interrupted, "Five minutes till the count down!"

     Everyone scrambled and looked at the clock. 11:56p.m.

     "Quick! Everyone outside!! NOW!" Annabeth shouted as she grabbed her jacket and darted towards the door!

     "Wait!" Sally called! Everyone froze. "Quick picture!"

     Like lightning, everyone gathered together tight and smiled for the picture. 11:57p.m.

     "OKAY! Out! NOW!" Annabeth shouted!

     Quickly, everyone was outside Percy's building and gathered in a tight circle.

     "11:58!!!" Annabeth shrieked!

     "TWO MINUTES!!!" Percy panicked!

     Everyone turned to Nico who was standing in the middle of the dark empty street.

     Reyna shouted to him, "QUICK! DO IT!"

    "On the count of three!" Nico called to them, "ONE.......TWO....."

     "THREE! GO!! GO!! GO!!!" Leo shoved everyone and they all ran towards Nico!

     As they ran, the world around them suddenly turned dark. They kept running. They heard voices, screams. It got ten times colder. They kept running. Then everything was bright and loud! They were all standing high above the city on the torch of The Statue of Liberty!

     "Whoa! Sweet spot Nico!" Leo marveled.

     "Eh, it's nothing." Nico shrugged.

     Reyna rolled her eyes and swung her arm around Nico's neck, "It's nothing." she teased. They laughed and she ruffled his hair.

     Percy, Annabeth and Grover were talking when a voice called, "Grover?"

     The satyr turned and looked down from the torch where he stood, "Juniper!!" he cried! He turned back to his friends, "I'm so sorry Percy, bu-"
