Big Brother

     *setting: After they defeat Gaea, now the demigods are going back to school*

     So Nico and Hazel are only two years apart, Nico is in 10th grade and Hazel is in 8th grade. Nico always waits for Hazel at the bus stop when she gets back from school, and they would walk to Percy's mom's house together. They stayed with Sally and Paul because Percy was staying in the dorms of his college campus.

     Well, one day Nico was waiting and when Hazel's bus pulled up he saw her fall out of the bus with some snickering guys following behind her. Of course Nico waited in a shadow, so the guys didn't see him. They continued pushing Hazel and teasing her and trying to take her stuff, but Nico had had enough.

      The guys stopped Hazel, turned her to face them then pushed her down into an alley. Suddenly Nico was standing face-to-face with them. "Whoa! Hey! Where'd you come from?!" He shadow traveled, duh, but simply replied, "From your nightmares." 

     The guys thought they were so big and tough, they pushed Nico back. "Go back to the shadows freak, I'm just gonna have a nice talk with my friend Hazey."

     Hazel scooted back, "It's Hazel! And don't talk to my brother like that!"

     "Oh," they snikered, "sorry, I had no idea." 

     Nico stepped in front of them, they just pushed him away and advanced on Hazel.

     "Get away from her!" Nico demanded, "And maybe I'll let you go easy."

     They didn't listen, but they did take offense, they smirked and advanced on Nico. But the ground started rumbling, the ground cracked beneath them, "Uh.. guys..? What's going on?!" they all fell.

     Hazel stood and faced them, "You just messed with the wrong person." she grinned and walked out of the alley, "Good luck." 

     They looked at Nico, who was having no problem standing or walking. He snapped his fingers and dead hands shot from the ground holding down each guy to the floor. Nico advanced.

     Hazel heard terrified screams, then all the guys turned the corner and faced Hazel, "WE'RE SORRY!!" and they ran away as fast as their mortal legs could carry them. She saw that most of them had fresh purple bruises, some black eyes, and multiple skull imprints, the same skull on Nico's ring. One guy ran away and still had a skeletal hand stuck on his jacket sleeve. She smiled and turned to see nico calmly walk out of the alley with a tiny little smirk on his face.

     "Holy Hades, Nico, what'd you do to them?" she said chuckling.

     He shruged, "At least you won't be seeing them anymore." He smiled and handed Hazel the stuff they took from her.

     "You could've at least sent them a little warning."

     "I did. I said I'm from their nighmares didn't I?" 

     "Well you'll certainly be in their nightmares now."   

     "Good," he said, "because no one messes with my sister."
