despite feeling guilty she soon realised there was nothing she could do about it.
walking out of her bedroom she took a few quicck glances in the hallway mirror, fluffing herself up again.

'el show debe continuar'
[ the show must go on ] she whispered before grabbing the small handle and twisting it.
the door opened quicker than expected thanks to the weight fro, the outside attempting to get in.

'mierda'
[ shit ] he muttered while looking up at her awkwardly.
'what are you doing here' she asked still holding the door handle.

'que? your not happy to see me?' he questioned walking in without permission.
'hm' she moaned having to close the door behind her.

'tranquilo princesa i just need the bathroom' he explained pacing past the bathroom door.
'the one you just walked past?' she reminded him, who then went inside but came out seconds later.

'okay i lied i didnt need the bathroom' he chuckled walking towards the girl who was sat on the kitchen side.
'see this is the problem' she exclaimed swinging her legs back and forth while he stood a few feet opposite her.

'you- you cant leave me alone' she splurted disbelief seeming through her voice.
'alicia..' he spoke lowly.

'and if you remember you asked me! you asked me to ''leave you alone'' as if i was like some sort of like fan!?' she exclaimed holding bunny fingers as she quoted leave you alone.
'alicia..' he repeated.

'no dont alicia me' she tutted hopping off the kitchen counter and walking towards him.
'fine.' he said sharply.

'fine?' she questioned.
'go on..say what you want to say' he claimed waving his right hand in a permitted motion.

'i- i?' she stuttered.
'exactly' he laughed egotistically.

'stop trying to find other people to blaim' he explained as he walked away from the conversation towards the door.
'are you seriously saying this is my fault? she questioned raising her voice causing him to stop just before the door.

'ay no one told you to go and mess around with hector' he shouted as the two stood opposite eachother in the small hallway.
'and no one told you to go and get a girlfriend!?' she exclaimed.

'so what was i supposed to do esperar por ti!?'
[ wait for you!? ] he complained.

[ wait until you finally decided to come back!? ] he shouted as she looked up at him.

it was true, she couldnt expect him to wait two years for her, thats selfish.

'so what are you trying to say?' he asked.

'what im trying to say is..' she paused.

[ you know what i dont even care ] he sighed impatiently wanting nothing but to leave in that moment.

'what?' she gasped lightly.

[ if you want it to be my fault so be it ] he explained unable maintain eye contact before reaching for the door handle and leaving.

'entonces que vas a dejar'
[ so what youre just leaving ] she shouted standing in the doorway of the apartment as he walked towards the stairs.

'feliz cumpleanos..' he replied leaving her waiting outside of the door.

a neighbour poked her head around her door asking if the girl was okay and it was only then she realised how loud the two mustve been arguing.

assuring to the woman she was fine she took herself back into the flat and into the bathroom to recompose.

she went from having two, to none.

she felt horrible for blaming him in the first place when it takes two to tangle but in the moment he was the only other person she believed could be in the wrong.

but like she said, the show must go on.
she had guests and she was being extremely rude right now so pulling herself together she locked up and returned to her party.

'where have you been?' maria asked, her voice was slurred and she was visibly tipsy.

'like are you okay?' she asked noticing her slightly red eyes.
'yeah no im fine' she said awkwardly smiling once she noticed the group of boys dancing in the distance.

'you sure..' thalia pressured looking deeply into the girls eyes knowing she wasnt been honest with her.
'im okay im okay' she repeated squeezing her bestfriends hand.

'guys..i think im going to be sick' maria claimed as she held one hand over her mouth.
'quick!' thalia exclaimed as they held their friend up one arm over each shoulder.

'go go go get ale' thalia exclaimed forgetting alicias recent conversation with hector but she placed her feelings aside for her bestfriend and walked towards the group of boys.

'aqui esta la cumpleañera'
[ heres the birthday girl ] marc exclaimed drawing everyones attention towards alicia.

she smiled awkwardly as all eyes laid on her including hector and lamine but not for long as lamine whispered something in nicos ear before walking off.

'ale maria needs you in the bathroom..' she explained.
'hm the bathroom huh?' sohaib laughed nudging the shoulder of marc.

'ella esta vomitado'
[ shes throwing up ] she said blankly before walking away with alejandro.

alejandro held onto alicia closely as they manoeuvred through the crowd. her walking slowed when she saw lamine amongst a group of girls and ale yanked her forwards.

'deberia haberlo sabido'
[ i shouldve known ] he tutted at himself.
'you shouldve known what?' she questioned pulling her arm out from intertwined with his.

'you can lie to nico but you cant lie to me licia' he laughed before waving at thalia who was stood outside of the bathrooms awaiting the two.

after maria throwing up they selectively decided that it was time to do the cake just in case she started to feel sick again and they didn't want to repeat of what they just seen.

leaving alicia with maria which she was not happy about alejandro and thalia made their way over to nico explaining their reasoning for doing the cake early.

he quickly rushed to the back of the bar and got her cake prepared her second cake because she had already had one at home with the family before they dimmed all the lights and Alejandro went and picked up the two girls that were in the bathroom.

'cumpleaños feliz! cumpleaños feliz!' the party attend these song as alicia grinned at the first that was being made of her.

'make a wish..' someone called causing her to look up, directly in lamines eyeline.
'well hurry up then' nico joked pretending like he was about to throw the cake in her face.

the group of people surrounding her did a countdown from 5 to one and when it reached one she made her 17th birthday wish.
