The girls headed home shortly after the game finished, not wanting to get the brunt of Alicias terrible mood. Lamine had pissed her off, majorly but what frustrated her even more was that she had waited almost two weeks for him to come home and be in her arms again and now she couldnt even have that. Skipping her evening skincare and just heading straight to bed she tried to shift her emotions away from Lamine but almost everything reminded her of him. It was growing insufferable how much she needed him more and more each day and he didnt even know it.

Her mind wandered to their conversation from late the other night, how easily the words te amo just slipped out of her mouth. It had been easy since then to get on with life as she had the distractions of party planning and content creating to lean on but it was at times like this, alone in her bed she realised how hard she was actually falling for this boy. A part of her regretted leaving for Brazil, she couldve took the gap year any other time, maybe if she hadnt her and Lamine would be in a lengthy realationship right now instead of venturing through the trails and tribulations of their new one. A part of her wondered if they were moving too fast and Lamine hadnt fully got over his and Alex's breakup but she tried to push that to the back of her mind.

Involving Hector was a mistake and Alicia was well aware with this but Lamine throwing it back in her face like tonight made her wonder if he really believed they were any thing more than close friends. They never went on dates, games of even kissed so there was no reason for him to be acting so out of character. There had to be something playing on his mind too. The pair would have to hash out their stupid feud or paint on a brave face for Alejandros party.

In the morning Alicia found her body woke her up much earlier than usual, probably because the place was a mess and Nico always complained about her laziness. Taking the opportunity to do a quick clean up before the craziness arrived. Yhe music from her headphones allowing her to get some serotonin for her soul. Being in a now better mood Alicia jumped in the shower. As much as she was pissed off at Lamine she wanted to look fairly decent for him.

"Birthday boy has arrived!" Alejandro called, kicking the door of Alicias bedroom open as he walked past, introducing himself like everyone didnt already know him. "You still have two more days" Nico tutted carrying some bags in from the car like a shoeffuer. Lamine was no where to be seen or heard and Alejandro noticed the deflation in Alicias face when she peered out of her bedroom door but she quicky masked it with a insult towards him. Being an outsider and watching Lamine and Alicia try to pretend like they arent completely in love with eachother was painful but the Fairy Godfather could only meddle so much.

Being tucked away in the apartment all day with her boyfriend clearly avoiding her no longer sounded like a good idea. After catching up with Alejandro for a few moments then asking Nico to keep an eye on him while she headed out she walked towards the open door. Turning around to close it behind her she then came face to face with him. He looked tired yet so hot. The hood of his all black jumper was pulled fully over his head meaning the curls she was known to love were hidden and he stood against the wall, scrolling through his phone.

Lamine felt her presence, glancing up to look at her but holding eye contact for long after noticing how beautiful she looked. How he had missed the soft locs of her long hair and the dimples that grew in the side of her cheeks as she smiled but right now she wasnt smiling. This pause in time felt like a century, they both watched eachother awaiting for someone to move or say something. All she wanted to do was jump into his arms and feel the familiar touch of him holding her and all he wanted to do was the taste the familiar sweetness of her kiss but they were both too stubborn.
