After nearly an 11 hour flight Alicia landed back in spain. Walking off of the plane she inhaled, allowing the smelll of home to pass through her senses before an impatient passenger brushed past her. Thalia and Maria had offered to pick her up as Nico was busy and wouldve left her stranded just to see the boys. She was excited to see the pair as after a failed attempted they hadnt been able to visit her while she stayed in Brazil. After heading through passport control and baggage claim, Alicia sat herself in an nearby seat area as she waited. The twins were known for being late.
"Lici!! Wake up!!" Thalia squealed while shaking her at the shoulders. "Seriously you can fall asleep anywhere" Maria exclaimed before pulling her into a long hug. How she had missed this, these girls were like the older sisters she had never had and had helped her navigate the ways of girlhood. "You guys took forever" Alicia complained, puahing her loose glasses tightwr on her face. "You guys took forever" Alicia complained, pushing her glasses tighter back onto her small face. "There was heaps of traffic" Maria explained as they walked towards Thalias car.
The car journey to Nicos was eventful, three girls, one hpurs and nearly two hours to catch up on. They had face timed atleast once a fortmight but it was difficult because of the time difference. It was shocking how none of them had changed, just grown in differenr ways. Thalia dreamt of being a sports a,bassador as Nico promised to put a good word in for her whereas Maria wished to travel the world. Dreams.

Waving the twins goodbye she pushed the doors of the apartment complex. Nico was grown enough to live by himself, meaning now his siter was back she could live with him as her own sense of independance. Climbing up the several flights of stairs, Alicia lugged her suitcases behind her. Refusing to use the lift as she had a chronic fear and would rather firm the stairs. When she got to the fifth floor she paused at the top of the stairs for a breath, remembering doing this exact walk when they had helped Nico move in years ago.
He wouldve been fast asleep by now so she tip toed though the door and headed towards her bedroom. She hadnt done much decorating before she left but creepily nothing had changed. Wether he liked to admit it or not, he had actually missed her and her room was a reminder. As much as Alicia would usually strive to be productivem Nico sounded like he had a busy day planmed so she headed straught for bed.
