'so did you have a nice night?' maria asked sipping on her warm cup of fresh coffee.
the party ended a small while after alicia blew out her candles and alejandro had roped all the boys into cleaning up for her.

'yeah it was great' she smiled wrapping her hands around her cup also. thalia glared at her for a few seconds, knowing something was wrong last night. but she knew alicia wouldnt say, until she was ready.

'did you speak to hector in the end?' thalia questioned as nico walked into the kitchen and greeted her cheerfully, it was unlike him to be happy in the mornings.

'si si i did' she began.
'yeah we kinda agreed to stop whatever it was we were doing' she explained oddly calmly bring the cup towards her mouth.

'huh!?' nico exclaimed swinging the fridge door shut and thalia made her way over to the breakfast table.
'yeah we urm- thought it would be best..for the both of us' she said lightly.

'he didnt tell you?' she questioned moving her cup away from her face to see the shocked look everyone held.
'no!? no he didnt' maria admitted forgetting their conversation from the night before.

nico had never cared about her love life before, even though it was non existant and his closeness was freaking her out.
regardless of the awkward tension floating somewhere around the air out there she sat at the head of her bed awaiting her phone to turn on after a night of charging.

the small black gift bag sat happily next to her charger awaiting to be opened again.
untiying the small bow they had wrapped up together she opened the skinny box revealing her new bracelet.

a beautiful mix of black and gold sat inside, it was dainty, it was beautiful and exactly her size.
she remembered mentioning something about the bracelets before she left for brazil but there was no way he couldve too.

the present was a constant reminder of him and she believed thats what he wanted. he handled her unexplainable attitude last night so well, with care and somewhat patience
but what did she give him in return.

'lici..' thalia called creaking the bedroom door slightly as alicia rushed to put the present away.
'where did you go last night' she questioned, eyes darting towards the thin box on her bedside table.

'go? where did i go? i was uphere' she laughed nervously.
'was you like..with anybody' thalia interogated closing the door behind her.

'me? que? no- no no' she assured as thalia looked at her in disbelief. she wasnt going to push her to speak up unless she really wanted to.

after talking to thalia for a while she stepped into the shower, finally feeling a sense of relief from the hectivity in her life the past few hours.

alicia knew thalia was aware something had happened last night but she wasnt ready to have that conversation yet.
today was an unlabelled lazy day. not quite how she would want to be spending her first day as a seventeen year old but she was okay with it.

'yo! licia get out here' nico called as she quickly wrapped her robe around here, wondering what was wrong.
'look the boys and i have a shoot today for syna world.' nico explained. 'the twins are coming. are you?' he asked.

'no' she spat.
'no?' maria complained.

'what was you planning to sit around and do nada all day?' nico questioned walking towards his bedroom not seeing alicia nodding behind him.
'aliciaa just come itll be fun' maria begged.
