"Chill.." Thalia said, brushing her hand against Alicias thigh. Her and Lamine had obviously had a few words with each other but instead of him keeping to himself he was laughing and joking with boys while she was deeping everything. "Im Chill and im good" Alicia lied, squeezing Thalias hand friendly. Lamine gazed over at her, a blank stare. He had no idea what had gone so wrong tonight, one minute they were fine and the next minute she was being so cold with him. Thalia and Lamine were the only sober ones, Alicia slightly tipsy and the rest absolutely smashed. Alejandro was making sure he was enjoying his last few days of being 19.

The taxi driver kept looking in his rear view mirror, wary of any damage being done to his seats as the group was squashed inside. When the ride eventually came to a stop they all stumbled out of the car, Alejandro attempting to carry Maria marriage style but nearly dropping her. Alicia stayed behind for a few moments, making light conversation with the overwhelmed taxi driver and then giving him a larger tip, just for compensation.

Stepping down from the car, the cold air slapping her around the face. Lucky for her she still wore Lamines jacket but she struggled with zipping it up as it had one too many zip like designs. When she looked up from fighting with the jacket she saw Sohaib waiting for her, his armed crossed from the cold. Alicia was his soft spot. They had a love hate relationship but were always here for each other. He may have been drunk but anyone could tell when something had knocked Alicia off of her good course and decided to be a listening ear for her.

"What did he do now?" Sohaib questioned, opening his arm so she could climb under. She paused for a moment to remove her high heels but then returned to the warmth from his presence. "He went to fucking Hector" Alicia laughed in disbelief , as if saying it out loud made it clear. He always had the most to say about Hector and nearly fought him just because of her so to tell him about the embarrassing moment she told him she loved him and he didn't reply was just not needed.

"He did?" Sohaib asked, he was as much shocked as she was. When Lamine explained what was going on never did he mention Hector once. Usually something like that would be what he would lead with in the conversation so leaving it out wasn't like Lamine to do. Sohaib was unsure whether to admit to Alicia that he had told some of the boys but that was just because he was struggling to tell her himself and Alicia didnt really seem in the right head space for more news but Sohaib was drunk and his mouth ran. "Hector came up to me and was like talking about i love you" Alicia begun to explain forgetting that Sohaib wasn't supposed to know. Being one of Lamines good friends she knew he would've told him sooner or later anyway. She was embarrassed, watching Sohaibs facial expressions change as she gave him a run down of the whole situation, that he already knew about.

"You just need to talk to him" Sohaib suggested. Alicia couldn't be mad and then just entirely shut down, that would be unfair. As much as Lamine was acting like everything was okay tonight had not gone the way he had planned and he couldn't stand the arguing for any much longer than she could. "I cant" She replied, pausing outside their apartment door as they had finally reached their floor. Sohaib was confused, as her boyfriend she should at least be able to talk to him. That was the basics. "Isnt that the basics of a relationship?" He laughed slightly, her face deadpanning. Sometimes she forgot about his nature and how most of the times he needed things explained in full detail to totally understand.

"Its easier to stay mad at him, when he isn't in front of me" Alicia admitted, watching Sohaib finally understand. Lamine knew Alicia too well, her weaknesses and her strong points. Unfortunately he was her number one weakness, one look from him and her mind could go completely blank. In some cases this was great but during arguments it wasnt. She didn't want to get in front of him and then forget everything she should be pissed off at him for because of his presence.
