They walked into the party his hand like a magnet on her side, keeping her close towards his body but the large crowd of people that begun to fuss over Alejandro nearly split them apart. Taking it upon himself to move her directly infront of him he rested his hands on her hips guiding her through the groups of people. They hadnt spoken since that moment in the car but were still acting normal. She noticed a few of the usual Barca boys congregated in a circle and so did Lamine. "Babe.." He muttered into her ear, she knew he was eager to catch up with Marc who was finally off of his crutches so she rubbed his hand in agreeance for him to leave.

Seeing Maria watch afar from as Alejandro greeted all the family and friends that had came out to see him was a cute view. Thalia and Nico stood closely with one another, laughing and swaying their bodies to the music. Everyone was happy. Alicia had been standing with Sohaib and Leila but snuck off for some alone time at the bar. If she was being honest with herself the thought that Lamine was hiding something from her kept replaying in her head as she was a chronic overthinker. It was most probably nothing, but most things including his mother were important. Every scenario whirled around her head as she sat and people watched from the bar.

Leila was an observant person, seeing Alicia take herself off to the bar was something she would do if she was feeling overwhelmed. Alicia and Lamine seemed like perfect couple, always laughing and smiling together but still having those moments when they would wind each other up. Sohaib really loved them, always talking about the group and the memories. He really made her feel welcome. "Tu bueno?" Leila asked, her hands rubbing the back of Alicias back so she would realise it was her and not some stranger. Alicia nodded, taking a sip from her drink but it was an obvious lie and Leila knew it. Alicia managed to deflect the conversation, getting Leila to talk about how her and Sohaib were doing. It was good to hear that Sohaib was finally maturing and learning how to treat girls right. Leila would be an amazing addition to the group and they all had already welcomed her with open arms.

"I am never doing this again" Maria sighed, slumping herself next to Alicia who was having an intresting conversation with the bartender. They laughed as Maria debreifed all the crazy shenanigans that had happened over the past few days with the party planning until Maria noticed Alicias eyes constantly wandering over to Lamine and the boys but it wasnt her usual look. Normally she looked at him like she wanted him, this time there was a sense of longing, like she craved something from him. "Whats he done now?" Maria asked, pushing Alicias chin back towards herself. The girl sighed. It was easy lying when you got asked once but when youre asked twice it just gets harder.

"I read his phone" Alicia began, Maria wasnt that drunk but a little bit tipsy so it took her a while to fully comprehend what Alicia had disclosed. "And you found?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows. Why Lamine and Alicia had been a thing for a long time, he had only just asked her out. Going down his phone already was moving very fast. "No i didnt intentionally" Alicia explained but it was clear Maria was not getting the hints. Thalia walked past with Nico noticing the same confused look on Marias face and decided to join the two. "You went down his phone!? You know what, i rate it." Thalia held her hand out for a high five but instead Alicia slapped her own face with aggrivation.

"His mum texted him" Alicia carried on, leaving Thalia hanging on purpose. The twins exchanged shocked looks, still not understanding the context of the situation. They had thought she went down his phone and read his and his mums messages but she didnt mean that at all. "I dont get why you would look through those messages though" Maria chuckled, Thalia chiming in with a sarcastic comment. They were just playing with Alicia now, trying to lighten her growing foul mood but slowly making it worse.
