alicia layed, face up toward the blank ceiling.
lamines comment had thrown her off of the good wavelength she was heading toward.

what did that even mean? she thought.
all she wished was for was a time machine to go back to the times of just genuine friendship between the two.

one thing she always wondered was what it would be like dating lamine, him and alex seem solid but anybody can put on a front.

today the group was going to a local day party that had a pool and a bar.
a few of nicolas' close friends would be joining the group too, as they were in greece also

there was only two days left in greece and this was already one of alicias favourite holidays. she had been to different parts of spain and obviously brazil, but other than that she hadn't traveled much.

after having breakfast and talking together alex and alicia prepared for the club. alex had lended alicia one of her bikinis, which was semi-revealing but alicia just had to put up with it for today.

the car journey was eventful as sohaib went on tiktok live to showcase the boys' hilarious dancing whereas alicia spoke to the driver but their language barrier made things difficult.

"thank you sir" alicia said smiling while she tapped lightly on his window.

walking through to catch up with the others, alicia slowly realised it was just a house party.

pushing a set of double doors revealed the large garden, there was a pool, a bar and a large amount of people and after a few moments of scanning the area she found the group standing with a few familiar faces.

"is that hector fort??" alicia asked while walking towards the group who were sat around a table.
"is that lici mae??" he asked jokingly reciprocating her sarcastic tone before bringing her into a hug.

hector and alicias friendship brewed around the time nico started playing for barca under 15s. she enjoyed his company as he had a charming character and the fact him and nico were close.

"so what brings you to greece?" she asked.
the two were sat, feet dipped in the pool while the others played with inflatables and spoke to new people.
"i mean it was here or america and i couldnt be bothered with the long flight" he explained.

"how was brasil!?" he asked intrigued.
"it was great gracias but im glad to be home" alicia explained with a small smile growing on her face, as if saying it out loud reminded her of how grateful she should be being.

"hey!!" hector called out towards lamine who had purposely splashed the two who were deep in convo causing hector to get into the pool to play fight.
"cabron.." alicia whispered underneath her breath while patting her now soaking wet overall she was wearing so she felt comfortable.

"what was that..?" he asked before perching his forearms up on the side of the pool next to her.
"you completely soaked my overall" she tutted.

"your sitting beside a pool isnt that expected?" he said with sass embedded into his tone causing her to roll her eyes.
"and besides you dont need to be wearing that anyway" he said grinning.

"behave mini" she said laughing happy that they were back to normal.
"okay okay" he said motioning his hands in a calm down motion before dragging her by her left foot into the pool.
