"You good?" Sohaib questioned. The three had left the airport after what felt like hours. Lamine was hounded with several fans wanting pictures, it shocked them all as their flight landed early hours of the morning but regardless Sohaib and Alicia trailed behind not wanting any attention brought to themselves. Thw couple had gone semi-public, both featuring pictures of one another on their recent instagram posts but not many fans had clocked onto it yet.

"Im okay" Alicia replied. With her airpod pro max' set to noise cancellation they begun their journey back home. Home. Any other time alicia wouldve been happy to return but after those amazing five days in Madrid, with Lamine by her side all the time the thought of him having to fly out constantly for away games was like a punch in the face.

"Look whos worrying now" Sohaib laughed. They had arrived outside his house so Alicia could return to her passenger princess duties instead of being shipped to the backseats. He knew her so well, it was scary. For someone who was so slow at times his emotional intelligence was incredibky high. Lamine had obviously spoken to him about their conversation late last night.
"Seriously Alicia, youve waited for him too long to sit here and worry about it" He comforted her, whispering as they shared a hug. He didnt want Lamine to hear their conversation because knowing she was now worrying would tip him over the edge.

"Adios" Lamine coughed, signalling their conversation had lasted too long for his liking and he was growing restless. After waving him goodbye he then patted on the passenger seat for her to climb inside. She looked effortless beatiful, the curls of her hair poking slightky out of the FC Barcelona hoodie she had stolen from him.
"Lamine? you just drove past your road?" She questioned, breaking the comfortable silence that had fell upon them. If they went back to his house, they wouldve stayed there the whole day and she would never get back to normal. The best option for now was hers, maybe she would realise how much she missed it.

"And..?" He dragged, chuckling to himself. Watching his hand grip around the steering wheel of the car, the focused glint in his eye, the raspiness of his voice as it had not recovered from his little nap on the plane made her heart beat that little bit more faster.
He was a pain in the arse, but he was her pain in the arse and whatever the future had in store for them had to be good.
"Youre so obsessed" She sighed, a sense of sarcasm in her tone. He lightly agreed before resting his free hand on top of her thigh. They had moved a few milestones these past few days, sharing a bed, waking up together. It was like a trail weekend for how their future life could pan out. With all these now positive thoughts swirling around in her head she endured in their normal flirty banter before he pulled into a parking space.

"You need help?" Alicia asked, watching as he almost struggled with the heavy bags she insisted on bringing. Letting out an accidental snigger at his refusal he closed the boot down in minimal frustration. "Did you even wear half of this?" He scoffed passing some of the bags towards her, his quick reactions to everything she said were so funny to her for no reason.

"Were those bags heavy?" She put on a tone of voice that annoyed him that all more. It was all her game and he knew exactly what she was doing as he spent most of his time doing it to her too.
"I know what youre doing Alicia" He defended, dropping the last bag into the small hallway. Alicia played dumb, holding her arms up in defense whispering 'you do' before gasping at the accusations he made at her.

"Shh" Alicia hushed him, pulling him by the arm into her bedroom. He had only been in here a few times but never for a long period of time. Before he had failed to notice how much it reflected her as a person. Her most prized possesions were sat on bedside tables, including the box to the bracelet he bought her. "Your brother is next door" Lamine tutted, pushing her away from the kiss she attempted to give him. If she wanted to play games he wanted to teach her a valuable lesson. He has the last laugh.
