Let me just assure people who do not do romance or Sans shipping--there is NO shipping in this book! Yes, there's a ship child, but he wasn't made through the bow chicka wow wow deed (as explained last chapter). I CANNOT write romance to save my life anyway! XD

Error's POV
Nightmare's eye widened and his eyelight shook.
"Nightmare?"
He didn't respond, and I waved my hand in front of his face. No reaction.
"...Eclipse?" I tried. Still nothing. What was going on?
I tried checking his soul again, and this time, it spoke normally, not all glitchy-like. An improvement, but what I heard caused my eyes to widen myself.
Eclipse ATK 0 DEF 0
*She's having a flashback
*She seems unresponsive to outside stimuliShe? Nightmare was masculine...was this "other person" a female? And why was...her attack and defense that of a pacifist Frisk?
Eclipse was trembling, her eyelight a mere pinprick as it shook. She was breathing shallowly and rapidly, having a borderline panic attack. Whatever she was remembering, it wasn't good.
How did dusting Nightmare turn up a female in his body? And the soul was that of kindness while still being apple-shaped, much like Dream's (though his was golden, not lime green).
Hmm...it doesn't seem right to dust her. Something was off (besides all the obvious stuff).
I took some string and used it to cut through Ink's paint chains. They fell off and disappeared. The moment they did, Eclipse wrapped her arms around herself tightly, still breathing rapidly. She didn't seem like she'd come out of it anytime soon...
I sighed heavily. "You owe me big time for this, Eclipse." I muttered before opening a portal to Sciencetale beneath her. It would land her back where we found her and Dream. Hopefully, Nightmare's gang would find her before Ink did.
She fell through without a sound aside from her quickened breathing. I closed the portal, opening another back to the Doodlesphere where my child and Ink and Dream were.
I still wasn't fond of the idea that Eclipse knew about Gradient...but with her stats, I doubted she'd hurt anyone. I couldn't say the same for Nightmare's group, but that was a problem for another day. As long as Gradient stayed put in the Doodlesphere, he'd be safe.
That was all that mattered to me.

Cross's POV
I paced around the living room, feeling agitated. Eclipse was in severe distress, and we couldn't reach her. That meant she was in one of the gods' domains. None of us could access the Doodlesphere or the Anti-void, even with our weak connection to her. We could only wait in silence as her panic and distress further angered us.
Despite the short time we knew Eclipse, we felt connections to her. The boss had rarely shown kindness to us (though he did not treat us unfairly), so her being so...accepting of what we were meant something to us. No one liked us. We were all broken skeletons from different universes.
Then again, she did not know our stories like the boss did. She may change her opinion of us once she finds out...
Horror was picking at the hole in his skull and Killer was tossing his knife in the air, both signs of nervousness and distress from the two. Dust was silent, so it was hard to tell his mental state, but he seemed as upset as the rest of us.
