"Nightmare?!  Please, stop!"

Why would you stop me?!  He's sitting on his damn high horse trying to invade our privacy and you choose to run instead of fight?!

"Ccino and the squad and Dream have their unsteady truce within that AU!  We can't afford to break something that isn't ours!"

That positive bastard pisses me off more than my own brother ever did.

"So??  THAT Dream isn't your brother!"

Still a positivity freak!

The tendrils still in my grip were flailing angrily and the lower two were a little trapped under my fallen form.  Didn't stop them from twisting and writhing with rage.

"Nightmare, please, relax!"

WHY?!

"You're trying to control MY body here!  I already told you that things here are MY decision, not yours!"

One of the tendrils caught in my grip twisted around, wrapping around my wrist and bending it roughly.  I yelped in pain, releasing it suddenly.  "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

You're the one who stole my soul, my body...WHY SHOULD I LISTEN TO YOU??!

The tendrils started turning on me and I found I couldn't exert control over them anymore.  I mean...I could, but it was so weak that I may as well have lost the ability.

I barely noticed the sound of a portal outside as the tendrils began constricting me and bending my limbs awkwardly.  "STOP!!"

Make me.

The door slammed open as I registered the panicked emotions of the squad entering.  "Eclipse?!"

I gritted my teeth.  "I-I can't...he isn't LISTENING----"

I cut off with a pained shriek as I felt my wrist crack.  "NIGHTMARE, STOP !"

Blue strings suddenly wrapped around the tendrils, trying to pull them away.  The tendrils just tightened around my limbs, refusing to let go.

"Dammit, I'm sorry for this, Eclipse!"

I didn't know what Cross was apologizing for until I saw him summon his blades, slashing through the tendrils around my limbs.  Nightmare snarled in my head while I cried out.

I felt something rise in my throat and moved my unbroken hand to my mouth, twitching.  I turned away, immediately throwing up something...familiar.

I cringed as black goo exited my body, the taste disgusting and recognizable.  It didn't last longer than 10 seconds, but it was still awful.

I coughed harshly, shaking really bad.  Why...?

Nightmare didn't answer...which...actually, was weird.

Nightmare?

Nothing.

I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to figure out what happened.  I couldn't sense the mild presence of Nightmare in my head anymore.

I flinched hard when someone touched my shoulder.  "E-Eclipse?"

I coughed again, opening my eyes and glancing at the Nightmare of this place.  "S-Sorry...didn't...mean to make a mess..."

"What happened?"

I winced.  "Dream...checked me.  Us?  Um...the check revealed both of us...that's why Dream was confused..."
