I found myself sitting in the living room of the castle, still in my human form.  The others sat nearby, and there was mild concern from most of them.  Killer didn't seem worried at all.

"Is there...really no way...to remove KARMA...from a soul without letting...it run its course?"

Dust sighed.  "Usually, my immediate answer would be no, but considering all the impossible things happening lately, I'd believe there to be a solution somewhere..."

"I mean...it's...just a little damage to my soul, right?  Yeah, a quarter of 14,000 is...a lot, but it shouldn't be too bad...right?"

Cross grimaced.  "Soul damage hurts on a different level than physical.  Not even healing magic can really counteract it...hell, I've never seen anything negate KARMA like this before."

"Just goes to show how weird I am."  I chuckled nervously.

"Could be worse.  Your whole soul could be covered in KARMA."

"That does not make me feel better, Killer."  I grumbled.

"KARMA is usually reserved for the judgement of humans at the end of their journey...I can't say I've ever had KARMA attacks used on myself."  Dust said, looking thoughtful.

"Probably...because no one considers...using it on other...monsters."

"Sanses are the only ones who can use KARMA-based attacks.  Well, and Underswap Papyrus since he's the judge and not Sans..."  Cross trailed off.

"What about those obscure AUs where Chara is the judge?"

"Uhh...okay, maybe those, too.  I dunno if those ones can use KARMA attacks..."  Cross admitted.

I took a shaky breath, closing my eyes and preparing myself.  I let go of the concentration on my human form, allowing the black liquid to cover my body again.

I took in a painful gasp as I felt my soul start to panic.  It felt like acid was eating away at my soul.

My group stopped their confusing conversation immediately, watching me with increased concern.  Even Killer watched nervously.

I doubled over, clutching my chest, ragged gasps escaping my mouth.  Every movement of my body was painful and my soul was really letting me know that.

There was a bit of a wooshing sound as someone...someones?...entered the room.

"What...oh..."

The couch dipped to one side as small arms wrapped around my form.  "J-Just breathe...you're okay, you're strong..."

Gradient...

A shaky cry of pain unwillingly left me.  It hurt so much.

"What's happening?"

"How much has Gradient told you?"

"Just that you guys went to one of the UnderArena AUs and had some fights."

"Eclipse...fought Gladiator.  He used...a KARMA attack...and it clung to her...soul.  It doesn't affect...her in her...human form, but we don't...have a way to remove...KARMA."

"I see..."

There was a light tug at my chest as my soul appeared suddenly.  A light touch, then some tapping sounds.  "It's almost gone.  Maybe 100 or so more HP."

My soul was shaking along with me.  The pain was fading, but it still hurt a lot...

After another agonizing 30 seconds, the pain died to an ache, and I took a raspy breath.  "God...remind me not...to...get hit by...KARMA...ngh..."
