You look up the moment you arrive at your house, seeing a certain boy waiting for you in front of your door. "Hey, Shiro. Lemme get changed real quick, then we can go." You open the front door, letting the boy walk into the entrance.
He just stands by the door after getting inside. "Ah, ok. How was the tournament?"
"We won." Without another word, not even saying anything to your family, you go to your room. You drop off your bags, then get changed into a nice outfit. You put a little bit of makeup on, styling your hair quickly. You leave your room, forcing a smile onto your face as you meet up with Shiro again. "I'm ready to go."
Shiro smiles, a blush dusting his cheek. "You look great."
"Thanks."
You 2 walk out of the house, you made sure to close the door before walking down the street.
Shiro walks beside you, looking at you from the corner of his eye. "So, what made you decide to come out with me?"
You keep your eyes forward, trying to maintain the smile on your face. "I thought it would be fun. We've been close to each other for the past few years. I didn't really have a reason to say no to ya. Did ya want me to say no?"
He shakes his head. "That's not it at all! I just thought that you didn't like me this way. You never really seemed interested in me romantically. You're not doing this out of pity, are you?"
You shake your head. "Not at all. I'm doin' this cuz I wanna. I just thought it's bout time that I go on a date with someone that likes me, and that I get along well with. Yer probably the best person for me. Why not date ya?"
"I - I never said date as in, like, being a couple! It - it's just one date!"
You raise a brow. "Then ya don't want me to be yer girlfriend?"
"I do!"
You look over at him, still smiling warmly. "Then why don't I be yer girlfriend?"
Shiro looked shock. "You - you want to be my girlfriend?"
You nod, even though your heart is saying the opposite. "Of course. I'd be the luckiest girl alive to be yer girlfriend."
The white haired boy stops walking. "R-really?!"
"Yeah. Come on, yer supposed to be showin' me to this tea house ya wanted to take me to."
He nods, grabbing your hand. "Yeah! It's this really cute place. I think you'll like it."

"Yer right, I do like this, Shiro." You grap the cup with both hands, carefully sipping the tea as you sit at the chabudai.
Shiro sighs in content, relaxing his posture a little. "I'm glad. I thought of you immediately when my parents brought me here. I remember you once said that you're rather fond of traditional Japanese things, like kimonos and yukatas. I thought you might like the traditonal style this place has."
You hum, gently setting your cup back on the table. "I do like it. I just wish I wore a kimono 'ere. Woulda really set the mood."
"I bet you look stunning in a kimono."
You chuckle. "Then ya should come with me to my shrine visit on New Years. I wear this f/c kimono with a (favorite flower) pattern in (second favorite color)."
The white haired boy looked at you in awe, trying to picture that imagine in his head. "That sounds beautiful. I can't wait to see you in it."
"I'm guessin' that means ya'll come with me to the shrine this year?"
He nods excitedly. "Of course!"
You grab your cup and take another sip of the tea. "Can ya tell me a bit bout yer team? I feel like I should know somethin' since we'll be sittin' with 'em startin' tomorrow."
"Oh, right. Uh, would it be ok if I introduce you as my girlfriend to them?"
You nod slowly. "I don't see why not. I am yer girlfriend now."
Shiro smiles excitedly. "I can't wait! The guys aren't gonna believe I actually managed to get the prettiest first year to date me!"
You raise a brow at him, continuing to hold the cup in your hands. "I'm the prettiest first year?"
He laughs awkwardly. "Yeah. The whole soccer team talks about you all the time. Everyone wants to ask you out, but they don't know how to approach you. When I told them we've been friends for years, they all became disappointed and thought they had no chance compared to me."
You look at your tea, trying to keep the smile on your face. "I guess they were right."
"Yeah. I'm really happy about that. I've been crushing on you since the day we met. I mean, I always thought you were beautiful, but even I thought I had no chance with you. That's why I was so surprised that you agreed to come here with me, and say you'd like to be my girlfriend." He lift a hand to the back of his head. "It still doesn't feel real. I think I'm just dreaming. There's no way any of this could actually happen."
You hum, your eyes focused on the liquid in your cup. "It's real, alright. Should I prove it to ya?"
He chuckles. "How are you going to prove it?"
You set your cup down on the table, reaching over to grab his hand. You look him in the eyes, moving your face closer to his from across the chabudai. You tilt your head slightly, gently placing your lips on his as you close your eyes.
Shiro's eyes went wide, completely surprised by your actions. Within a split second, he was eagerly kissing you back, humming in delight.
You pull away, going back to your cup of tea. "Is that real enough for ya?"
"Very. You know, that was my first kiss. I was always hoping you'd be my first. I love you, Y/n."
