Naging madali para kay Ren ang hilahin ako palabas ng unit ni Warren. He slammed Wren's door closed and dragged me inside ours, causing me to frown at the pain from his tight grip on my wrist.

"Bakit ba gustong-gusto mong tulungan ang walang kwenta na 'yon, Win?!" sigaw sa akin ni Ren. Natigilan ako, tila nabingi sa mga salitang binitawan niya. Warren might seem like nonsense to him, but for me, he's everything. Mahal na mahal ko si Rendy pero mas malalim at mas matibay ang nabuo naming relasiyon ni Warren bilang magkaibigan. Hindi ko lang siguro matanggap na sabihan niyang walang kwenta ang bestfriend ko dahil sa katunayan ay si Warren ang siyang laging nandiyan sa tuwing tinatalikuran niya ako. He has no idea how genuine Warren really is.
"Wala ka ba talagang konsensiya, Ren? You're the one who almost killed him, and yet I don't see any trace of conscience on your face. Tao ka pa ba?" He was taken aback by the words I said. I meant every single word that came out of my mouth. If that's the only way to convince him to bring Warren to the hospital, then I wouldn't hesitate to tell him harsh truths.
"If you don't really have the heart to help me, just let me do it on my own. P'wede kaming mag-taxi kung hindi mo kami magagawang ihatid sa ospital, Ren," sambit ko. Himala na hindi na siya umalma sa kagustuhan kong makalabas. Nakita ko na lang ang sarili na nasa harap ng pinto ni Warren. I didn't waste any time and ran toward my best friend. Dahil sa kusina ko siya iniwan kanina ay doon agad ako nagtungo. He's not there.
