MATTEO: Life and Death

Chapter 11

Matteo was in mild , you could say shock . In front of him just stood Rogue Sacramentes dressed in a yellow sweater , black pants and white sports shoes . She had silver hair ,looks like was painted with beskar . Her eyes were blue - they were cybernetic implants , popular with octogenarians like her . In one hand she held a blaster that once belonged to clones , and in her holster she had a heavy RSKF-44 blaster , which looks like a revolver from Earth . The rest of her people ( And there were ten of them ) had two blasters . A DC15LE rifle and an S-5 pistol . Where the fuck they got it , even Matteo had no clue .

Rogue walked up to Shepard and whacked him with the butt of her gun . Ouch , it hurt like hell.

"Where the hell did you go!"- she growled at him - "You took money from me and disappeared . You just disappeared! " - She took out a second blaster from her holster and put it to his head - "Give me one reason , why shouldn't I blow your empty fucking head off you!"

"I know it sounds shitty , but how to explain it to a strong woman like you"-then she put the blaster more closely to his head-"Well , okay! I was brought back to life , okay! I know it sounds stupid , but it was . I seriously have evidence!"

"What kind, for example?" Rogue asked . Matteo lifted his robe , up showing the body , without a single scar . Sacramentes was delighted with his body condition.

"On this body I had , a mass of scars . On the front and both on the back . I had scars , fuck! And now I don't have them . This is no Jedi trick . I really , I fucking came back to life . I was on the other side" He lowered his robe . Rogue looked at him . She wondered whether to believe him or not . She lowered her blaster and put it in her holster . Then Rakkus' men flew down and pointed their blasters at them . The army captain stepped into the middle and looked at the corpse of his superior .

"You'll pay for what you've done," he muttered to him.

"You mean that fat Hutt , whose heart worked harder than a Mexican mother working for her eight children? Yes , I admit it , I fucked him up in cold blood , but I had a reason for it - he was on my list for firing , so I'm terribly fucking sorry that I killed the person who was giving you a paycheck!" Matteo activated his lightsaber . The captain growled something in the Huttesse language . Matt knew what he said - "kill them!"

Matteo cut the blaster of the captain , and then killed him by cutting him in half . He used the power to push back the rest - he wanted to set off the odds a little . Soldiers stood up and started shooting - one of them used a thermal grenade . Matteo threw the grenade back . The grenade exploded killing two soldiers . Shepard moved forward and started murdering all the Rakkus men . They all fell like flies . Their clovers were torn from their bodies , and their blasters were cut in half .

Rogue hid her blaster . During the fight she lost only one man - a small price , as for gaining a fortune belonging to one of the most powerful people on Nar Shadda . But , were they sure? When , Rogue was about to go to the vault , fire opened up . Her men fell to the ground dead . She herself was hit in the stomach and fell to the ground . Then Matteo approached her . In his hand he had two blasters , which were still smoking .

"It's nothing personal . . . . Rogue" he said . The woman's face began to change - it went from white to green . Wrinkles appeared on the facial features . The eyes not only changed color , but also changed size . After a while, her whole face changed revealing herself as a Clawdite - a shape-shifter race living on the planet Zolan.

Rogue looked at Matteo . There was anger in her eyes.

"Wee shannit .... Sleemo" Those were her last words. She let out a breath and closed her eyes . She died . Matteo crouched by her side.
