War has always been a part of this galaxy. Nothing has changed until today. Over the course of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years, armed conflicts arose between different factions. Some of them have left a lasting scar. The fall of an order or the culling of an entire race or the elimination of a major threat. These conflicts were recorded in books from which scholars in schools or academies learned. The last strongest conflict in the galaxy was the Clone Wars. And after them, the galactic civil war slowly arose. Wars and fighting cannot be avoided. War is the destiny of this galaxy. There will still be fights - no matter who rules all these worlds. The light of war and fear will always hit innocent worlds.

Matteo reviewed various reports from Alliance agents. One of them - David 'Section' Mason sent the names of senators , who can be useful and through them a new senate can be built in the new world. Matt turned off the report and leaned back in his chair. These people might come in handy someday. He looked at his computer again, reviewing messages this time. The mailbox was filled to the brim. Shepard began to read them.

Kawlan Roken : Taking cooperation.

Jane Shepard : Meet with me.

Matteo clicked on the last message and opened it. When he did so he read the short message and got up from his seat. He then left his cabin.

Shepard was in the conference room. He was standing in front of a hologram of Grand Admiral Jane Shepard. He guessed , it would be some kind of mission. He looked at her.

"Your team will fly to the planet Echiva. The local resistance movement has a problem with the Empire. Like any planet these days. Your task will be to retake the capital of the planet Azul from the hands of the Empire. It won't be easy , that's why I'm assigning you an elite team. They are the best of the best. They have fought against many enemies , especially the Russians. Before the flight take a cigar - preferably a Cuban cigar. One of the members likes to smoke cigars. If we win. Echiva will belong to the Alliance. Good luck." Jane hung up. Matteo ordered Joker to set course for Echiva. The pilot accepted it and after a while the 'Normandy' jumped into hyperspace.
