Chapter 31

Iskat walked through the camp to the barracks in , where her colleague Tualon was located along with Jedi and children sensitive to the Force. As she passed she saw many Imperial stormtroopers - they were practicing as well as grumbling about the weather. In fact, it was hot for the planet. But , Akaris had been in such hell more than once. She remembered Geonosis - the planet where 200 Jedi rushed to the aid of Anakin Skywalker , Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Naberre Amidala - a senator from the planet Naboo. During the rescue operation, her master Sember Vey was killed in a battle with Combat Droids. To this day she considered it a foolishness - but , she had already managed to forget about it. Skywalker , Kenobi and Amidala were dead - what a misfortune. The girl walked on taking on a posture more fearful of the loyal soldiers of the empire. Time to show who's boss.

The inquisitor reached the barracks. Purge troopers surrounded the building on all sides. Each had blasters and batons once used by General Grievous' personal guards. The soldiers themselves were clones - the last of the Kaminoan production before Admiral Edmon 'Moron' Rampart destroyed Tipoca city on the orders of Moff Tarkin- Ha! And those in the Senate think , Rampart himself destroyed the city and wiped out almost all the Kaminoans , because he started a rebellion. What idiots.

Purge troopers themselves , in addition to being clones , were better trained - they are more effective than the whole army. She heard about the action on Mon Calamari - Ferren Barr took advantage of their weakness and set them against the Inquisition and Lord Vader. Good thing , the Sith Lord killed Barr - he deserved it. Stupid Jedi scum! Under her command managed to stow away the Jedi padawan , who at the mere sight was terrified of the soldiers of the purge and immediately surrendered. The Jedi became weak. Very weak.

She approached the entrance. She looked at the squad captain - maybe he knew something about the progress with the Jedi. She decided to ask him.

"Captain? Do you know anything about the interrogations?"

The captain looked at her - the red visor was arousing terror among the enemies , but not the Inquisitors. The captain corrected his blaster.

"No thirteenth sister. Nothing has changed. Maybe you will change something," he said. Iskat snorted and went inside.

When , Iskat went inside she saw a torture machine - and a Jedi Master on it. Next to the machine was a group of Force-sensitive children - they were terrified. Fear surrounded them. They were afraid that their Master would leave - would be killed by the Inquisition. The Master did not resist or give up - he was still alive. For Taulon it began to be boring - he already preferred to kill her and laugh , but not something stopped him. Emotion? Pity? Many things began to flow into his head , when Iskat entered the room. This one cast an angry look at him.

"Really? You didn't manage to break her? It's been a long time. What are you waiting for? For Lord Vader? If Vader himself were here , he would kill you on the spot without any emotion or contradiction. You are weak!" She muttered. Taulon looked down - he wanted to explain his feelings but couldn't - he was afraid. He lifted his head up.

"Jedi is strong. I won't be able to break her" He lied. Iskat rolled her eyes - More excuses.

"Get out of here. It's best to go back to Nur and report back. The Jedi is dead. She would rather die than live."

"But , she's still alive," the Inquisitor pointed out. Iskat took out her lightsaber and ignited it. She threw it towards the Jedi . The sword cut the woman in half. The weapon returned to its owner - she deactivated it and gave it to her back.

"Now she's dead - you can take the corpse." - She said. Taulon sadly took the corpse and left the barracks. Iskat looked at the children.

"And now my little adepts. Who wants to learn about the dark side of the Force?"
