"You know," I looked at Hiraeth, she glanced at me, "You could've let me answer Maureen, it looks like she was offended by your answer, Le Cheri." I continued, doing my best to sound soft so that I won't hurt her feelings.

"But I'm only saying the truth," she said, raising her brows.

"I know, pero I think she was asking me, and It's only right na I'll be the one to answer her, right Le Cheri?" I continued, I sounds like pinagsasabihan ko ang isang batang anak at pinapakalma ko ang boses ko para hindi siya umiyak.

"Pero ang stupid niya kasi, halata nanaman na you rejected her pero ang slow niya not to realize you cane to the party with another, she even claimed na nauna ka nasa venue to hintay her," I mentally slapped my forehead by her answer.

How could she be this cute? Para siyang batang may pinag-lalaban at pinapatunayan na wala siyang maling ginawa.

"Yeah, I know, I was confused din when she said that, pero you could've told her kindly na I'm with you,"

"Le Cheri you literally sounded so mean, tapos ang boastful pa ng tone mo, I even remember the smirk on your face when Maureen left our table embarrassed because of what happened," I chuckled, she can't deny it, huling huli na siya.

"She's annoying, ayoko sa dumb,"

I sighed dahil sa narinig ko sa kanya, "Pero still, please don't do that again, you can tell her na I'm with you and you can angkin me all you want, pero wait for me to talk first before you do okay?"

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms on her chest before nodding, I smiled softly at her kahit na hindi na sa akin naka-tingin ang mata niya.

I noticed a strand of her hair covering her bewitching face, and without thinking too much thought, I lifted my hand and tucked her hair into her ear.

She finally looked at me, her face a little shock, and I smiled at her sweetly, "Pero thank you, because of what you did she didn't have to come to me again,"

"Hmm," she answered, her eyes still on mine, with the same intensity I looked back at her, my palm on her cheek.

"Hmm," she moaned, after I slightly bit her lower lip and quickly licked it, her arms are now encircled on my nape, my hand that was on her cheek is now on her waist, while the other is now on her neck, holding her there.
