Chapter 27

"Come to the hospital, now."

My blood that's been circulating inside me are running with grins and cheers, they are happy, same as me!

I feel so lucky kasi nakasama ko siya sa pagkanta sa harap ng fans ko.

Malaki ang service fee niya at kung kinakailangan ay magbabayad talaga ako. Lalo na at she have to overcome her hate of crowded places just for her to attend my concert. Buti na lang according sa kanya, surprise ito, walang bayad, she did it for me.

Actually, at first I was curious and confused as to why is she not doing many fan meetings. Sikat siya at siguradong sold out lahat ng ticket, at yayaman siya lalo pati na rin ang company niya.

"Where is she?" I asked my manager with a big smile on my face.

"Nasa kabilang kwarto." She said, not looking at me her face is quite serious.

"Hey, shouldn't you be happy? Why do you look all serious?" Sunod sunod na tanong ko. "Pinapasama mo naman ang loob ko, its clear naman, Clare, na success na success itong concert ko, kaya you have nothing to worry about!" I exclaimed.

"Hindi yun! Of course, of course! Your concert is a hit, successful, lalo na at naging guest mo pa si Leigh, and of course you worked hard for this." She explained her hide, I nodded my head understanding her.

"So? Why so serious?" I asked again, I won't stop until she answered my question, and I know that she knows na I won't stop until I get an answer.

"When she came and joined you in this concert, are you sure that she didn't broke any rule from her company? Sigurado ka bang pinayagan siya ng manager niya? Because if I'm the one to answer those questions I've asked, I'll answer 'no'." I met her gaze with my brows furrowed because of confusion. "You're an actress and let's say na ka-level ka niya, do you think papayagan kita? No, right? Kasi you're famous and our company won't let those things be done kasi iniingatan nila ikaw. What you two did can cause a great rumor to circulate." Dagdag niya pa.

"What are you saying?"

"The rumors can create things such as you having a relationship with Leigh, you're not in a relationship, and let me assume that you had moved on from your past relationship, and the company won't say anything about you having another relationship, because they'll earn something from it, but how about her company?"

After I heard her say those words my brain started to create scenes about Leigh.

Moved on.

The way Hiraeth performed in front of that big crowd, I can see her standing at the big stage her arms wide open, when Hiraeth turned around in that stage, I can see her turning around that stage too, the way Hiraeth sang beautifully, I can hear her singing playfully.

It was as if my brain did a sudden flashback but comparing two women who confused me.

When I took time to answer her question I heard her sigh unbelievably, "You haven't moved on, have you?" Her question made me froze. I looked at her and gave her a confused look.

"What are you even saying? Tinulungan mo si Leigh for this concert tapos bigla kang magsasalita ng ganyan." sagot ko, nanghihina na dahil sa mga sinasabi niya, kasama na rin ang pagod na dala ng concert ko.

"That's the point, tinulungan ko siya, I saw her efforts and to think that you have a past with someone, whom you treasured and wrote a song for her, makes me feel guilty."
