Jasmine stood outside watching carriages pouring into the Simon estate. She and her family were about to start leaving. She looked up at the trees above her, they were being blown by the light winds. The morning breezes feel nice... Jasmine thought, when suddenly Earl Simon approached her.
"You look like you're in a good mood." Earl Simon observed.
"Ah, no that's not it. I'm just happy to be back home and resting." Jasmine looked at the Earl.
"Huh, it's such a shame that I didn't get a chance to chat with you." The Earl commented.
"I'm also a bit disappointed since I was looking forward to it..." Jasmine sighed.
"You may stay longer if you wish." The Earl pointed out.
"No." Jasmine declined, "My feeling of wanting to go home and rest is stronger. Since I'm completely exhausted. And the reason? I'm sure you know."
"Haha, that's true." The Earl chuckled.
The two started walking around the garden of the estate in the front yard. Discussing things as they walked.
"The magic world has started to watch you." Earl Simon told Jasmine.
"Well, I thought so..." Jasmine seemed sighed.
"It seems as though you know who you are." Earl Simon smiled.
"Of course," Jasmine shrugged, "Anyhow, was his name Lennon? I gave him a punishment.
"I expected as much," Earl Simon nodded, "He seemed out of it since yesterday."
Jasmine looked at the Earl with a concerned face, "You're not angry at me for punishing your son?"
"He only received the consequences of his actions, why would I get angry?"
Jasmine stared at the Earl in disappointment. She could now understand why the two boys were so messed up. While raising the children at the orphanage, she never neglected a single child, even if they possessed little to no talent.
"By the way, it seems as though Lennon's pretty talented in magic. I think it might be okay to teach him." Jasmine pointed out.
"No, I know his talent more than anyone. What he has is nothing." The Earl made a disappointed face.
Jasmine could not stand the stubbornness of this man, he didn't even care for his own children, "It wouldn't hurt to try, so why not try teaching him? He should get as good as you if he trains hard! He isn't able to express his talent because he's being suppressed by those around him! This is all your fault Earl!"
"W-what?"
Jasmine started to get a bit angry, "I'm saying that the reason those two punks are so messed up is because you've ignored them just because you thought they lacked talent!"
"What are you-"
"Alf is pretty normal, but Lennon has tremendous hidden talent!" Jasmine scolded Earl Simon for his neglect.
"Did I perhaps misjudge him?" The Earl wondered.
Earl Simon looked at Jasmine, thinking how his 8th class ability couldn't recognize Lennon's talent but it was easily confirmed by a child. The Earl observed more closely, but as he did this it felt as though a great mage was standing before him, not the little girl at hand.
"Who knows? You might even be able to break through your own wall with your son's help!" Jasmine smiled.
The Earl was stunned at this statement, he wondered how the girl in front of him found out about this condition.
