"Are you... A dragon?" The man with horns asked.
"I'm sorry, but can't you tell just by looking at me?" Jasmine was confused by the question.
"Well, that's correct. Upon gazing at you, I was quick to realize that you were not a dragon. However, that doesn't make sense." The man spoke in an arrogant tone.
"Pardon?" Jasmine felt a slight pang of killing intent from the man.
"How is it possible for a human who contains nothing similar to a dragon, to have such potentiality? As well as that mana of yours, it resembles the way that dragons breathe mana."
Jasmine was surprised by this new information. Was the combination of her old breathing technique and Marquess Reed's combined, similar to a dragon?
"Humans are far more inferior when it comes to breathing mana. Since they lack intelligence, they can't even imitate us dragons." The dragon explained.
Jasmine felt annoyed at his remark. How could he say something like that to her and humanity?! She was disgusted by the fact that this dragon was looking down upon her.
"However, you seem very different. Is it possible that you're half elf? No, that can't be. High elves still can't compare with us dragons."
"There's no need to say it doesn't make sense when I'm right in front of you!"
"Ha! Arrogant little girl! I admire the fact that you can be proud despite being captured!"
"Oh yeah?! What're you so proud of? You go off kidnapping people because you think that they're a dragon!" Jasmine countered.
"Kidnap?" The dragon growled.
Jasmine had pieced together the following events. The sudden wind, the lightning bolt that had struck the carriage, and the sudden mana burn. All of these events were artificially created!
"Well, I suppose that is a way of putting it..." The dragon sighed, "I just wanted to make sure."
"Because of you, Mother and Samuel-!" Jasmine cut herself off, she didn't understand why she was so angry, she didn't care about her family, right? "Well, I suppose it would make sense to be curious who I am. Could we talk after you've gotten rid of these chains, please?"
"No." The dragon shook his head.
"Your reason...?"
"Well, it's entertaining to see you like that." The dragon smiled.
"What-!"
"The expressions you make are quite amusing, so it would be a pity to let you go." The dragon smirked.
Jasmine thought about her situation. Picking on people is just like the personality of the blue dragon Masato. Blue dragons were known for being the most gentle out of all dragons. The way they feel towards humans is similar to what humans feel towards dogs or cats. Jasmine considered herself pretty lucky to meet a blue dragon. If she had met a red or black dragon which were known for being violent, she would've died immediately. Or if she had met a sly green dragon, she would've died as well.
"Why did you kidnap me if you thought I was a dragon?" Jasmine asked.
Masato's scleras suddenly turned black, "Well, that's of course to kill you."
Jasmine was a bit frightened by this but decided not to show it, "W-well, it would be nice if you could please let me go-"
"No." Masato smiled.
"Your reason...?"
"Well, I don't have one at the moment but I can improvise. If I use you as material, I'm sure that I could make at least a master-ranked dragon soldier. A very useful tool!"
