"You, how do you know me?" Pyro questioned.
Jasmine wondered exactly how Pyro descended. A God could casually descend on their own will.
"Can you not hear my voice?!" Pyro asked again.
Jasmine's head was attacked by a sharp pain when Pyro spoke. Because she was a black magician, a God would cause severe damage to her just by speaking.
"Answer me immediately!"
"Ha..." Jasmine held her head, "Ricky's divinity belongs to you..."
"Are you trying to say that you were trying to make him an undead despite knowing that?!"
"I didn't want him to die." Jasmine answered coldly.
"Hah... Are you saying that the undead aren't dead?! This is an act of disgrace to the dead! How dare you not understand the preciousness of life?!" Pyro was furious.
Jasmine clutched her head, the pain intensified. She felt powerless in front of a God. But she knew that someone such as herself would never surrender to being suppressed.
"You damned Gods..." Jasmine gritted her teeth, "YOU'RE THE ONE'S BELITTLING LIFE!!! AFTER SACRIFICING THE ENTIRETY OF HUMANITY, HOW DARE YOU EVEN SAY THAT?!"
Pyro flinched, "What?! No! I... no..."
Jasmine wasn't confused by this reaction. She knew that Pyro was the god that cared about humans the most. Therefore, giving her the position of Goddess of Mercy. However, Jasmine still did not respect her any bit.
"Anyway..." Pyro was still nervous, "This child is going to become my Apostle. If you turn him into an undead, I will not forgive you!"
"An Apostle?!"
An Apostle was a human who was closer to the Gods than anyone. Their very existence ensures a position as a pope or higher. They are the strongest users of divine power, they had caused Jasmine a lot of trouble in her last life. But Jasmine smiled at this, she could use this to her advantage.
"I'm so sorry! What could I possibly do to make up for this mistake?"
"Sorry?"
"I'm afraid that part of him is already an undead!" Jasmine smiled.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU"VE DONE?!!" Pyro shouted at Jasmine.
Jasmine held her head, the pain was almost unbearable. But she knew she had to keep her plan.
"Do you have a death wish?!"
"Ha! Things would turn out much worse if that were the case!" Jasmine put her hands on her hips, "Since if I die, Ricky will perish as well!"
"Do you really think your threats will work on me?"
"I do, actually! Afterall, there can only be one Apostle! Without an Apostle, a god can't even descend, no?"
Jasmine knew she was winning the argument when she saw the troubled face of Pyro. She snickered and continued her arguments.
"Just as I've said, I don't want to kill Ricky since he's my friend!" Jasmine shrugged.
"What a wicked woman you are." Pyro expressed a pained smile, "You sure have come up with a plot to keep yourself alive."
Jasmine grinned, "But why make him your Apostle though? There shouldn't be a need for an Apostle right now. The world is going how the twelve Gods planned, peacefully."
"Just how much do you know?" Pyro questioned.
"The holiest of the twelve Gods, the one who loves all! The one so filled with love they gain authority to reform evil. Perhaps, were you cast out?"
