(This chapter will be Sears' story)

"I almost didn't recognize you, Beryl!" Marquess Bell laughed.

"Yes..." Beryl didn't want to talk.

"Ha! Ha! He's shy since all he thinks about is swinging the sword!" Beryl's father laughed, "I'm worried I cannot find a good-enough instructor for him these days..." Beryl's father sighed.

"Oh dear, would you like me to look into one?" The Marquess asked.

"I'd be extremely grateful if you did!" Beryl's father smiled.

Beryl suddenly felt a tug on his sleeve, it was a tan haired girl. She wore a yellow dress and a flower in her hair. She looked up at him with admiration in her eyes.

"Beryl! There are a lot of butterflies over there!" Sears pointed out the window.

"What? No, I-" Beryl stuttered while speaking.

"Ha ha! Seems like our tomboy has taken a liking to Sir Beryl!"The Marquess laughed.

"Beryl, you should accompany Young Miss Sears." Beryl's father told him.

"Ah... Yes..." Beryl was hesitant.

"Look at this Beryl!" Sears called.

Sears had successfully climbed up a tree, plucking a red apple from one of the longer branches.

"S-Sears!" Beryl shouted, he could see the branch slowly snapping.

"Huh?" Sears looked down.

"Be careful!" Beryl shouted.

"KYAAA!!" Sears slipped and fell off the tree.

"SEARS!!"

Beryl had barely caught Sears before she came plummeting from the tree. They both fell to the floor in a mess of leaves and twigs.

"Ugh..." Beryl groaned.

"That was fun!" Sears quickly got up, not even bothering to dust herself off, "Let's do it again, Beryl!" Sears ran over to the tree.

"No..."

"Please!"

"I said no... please..."

Soon enough, the duo were inside the estate once again. A snap could be heard as Beryl quickly broke the apple Sears picked in two parts.

"Here." Beryl handed Sears half.

"Wow! It looks so good!" Sears cheered, she was now in fresh clothing. She wore a white shirt and baggy shorts, "Do it again!" Sears piled many more apples onto the table.

"When did you bring all of that...?" Beryl was tired.

"Please?" Sears smiled brightly.

"Sigh..." Beryl couldn't find the heart to disagree to Sears' request's.

"Wow!"

"Okay!" Sears shouted, "I've made up my mind! I'll learn swordsmanship!"

"What?" Beryl stood still, silent and trying to comprehend what Sears said.

Sears held a poorly crafted wooden sword, "Instructor Beryl will be my teacher starting from today!"

"Hah... I knew it..." Beryl sighed.

"Hyah!" Sears hit the dummy, making the straws rustle a bit, "What do you think?" Sears excitedly waited for an answer.

"Ah, just don't do it. You have no talent."
