"Chain lightning. Explosion." Jasmine cast spell after spell, destroying hordes of monsters, "Ugh... what a pain. I can't even use my black mana..." Jasmine looked at her hands, not realizing there was a monster approaching her from behind.
"Master!" Benna darted over, "Be careful!" She grabbed Jasmine's shoulders, flinging her away and kicking the monster, slicing it open, "Master, don't just stand around like that!"
Jasmine fell to the ground, landing bottom first. She was definitely not physically fit, not in this life or her last.
"Ugh..." Jasmine crawled back to her feet, standing up slowly.
"Master, are you alright?" Benna asked.
"I'm... fine..."
After they continued to venture deeper into the forest, Jasmine asked Benna a question.
"Benna, you can't use your black magic here either, right?"
"Yeah, but I'm feeling better than ever!" Benna twirled around, "How do I say this... My body feels light, and I can feel strength coursing through me!"
"That's good." Jasmine nodded and smiled.
Jasmine figured that Benna was a forest Valkyrie. Just like elves, forest Valkyries are influenced by the energy of the forest.
"So why are we here?" Benna asked.
"Because of the Goddess." Jasmine had already told Benna.
"Oh right! The Goddess! So what do we need to do?"
"I'm not sure. We have to-"
As Jasmine took a step forward, the ground suddenly broke, revealing a giant ditch beneath them. This took them by surprise, they looked down as they were falling.
"KYAAAAAAAAAA!!!" They hugged each other and screamed.
In the panic, Jasmine tried to activate flying magic but it didn't seem to work. That was when she truly started to panic, she was going to die if she fell from this height!
But to her surprise, the two of them landed safely on the ground in a patch of fresh grass. Jasmine immediately stood up, looking at her surroundings.
"WE'RE ALIVE RIGHT?!?!" Benna shook Jasmine by the shoulders.
"Y-y-y-yeah!!" Jasmine couldn't speak properly as Benna kept shouting.
The two finally calmed down after a while and looked around them. It was a dark hole with fresh grass all around them, Jasmine finally noticed a turquoise door in the distance.
"Master... Where are we?!" Benna asked.
"Hold on, Light." Jasmine shined it on the door, revealing ancient characters, "It's a ruin..."
Jasmine was shocked at the words. She recognized them! They were the ancient letters of her time! She never thought that she would find them in this life.
"Leave, or enter." Jasmine read.
The large doors creaked open, revealing another room that couldn't be well seen in the darkness.
"Wow! The door opened!" Benna seemed excited.
"This is pretty interesting..." Jasmine observed.
The two walked into the next room, preparing for whatever would come their way.
...
"Master, are you alright?" Benna helped Jasmine stand.
"I hope so..." Jasmine chuckled, she straightened her back and stood up again.
"Thank goodness! I thought we were going to die!"
"Same here..." Jasmine smiled nervously, "I mean, giant armored soldiers equipped with anti-magic, automatic rapid-fire traps, a horde of war scorpions that would keep coming at no end... Who knows what else they got in store!" Jasmine sighed.
They approached another door cautiously, Jasmine used her magic to light up the words in front of her.
"I hope this is the last one..." Jasmine moaned.
"What does this one say?" Benna asked.
"The place where it sleeps." Jasmine chanted and the doors slowly opened.
"The place where it sleeps? What's sleeping in there?" Benna wondered.
When the door fully opened, a giant black bear with a red spiked collar walked over. It was as tall as the doors, many times taller than Jasmine and Benna. Both were shocked at the sight of it. What was a bear doing here?!

Bonus:
"KYAAAAA!!!" Jasmine screamed.
"Aww! So cute!" Benna admired.
