"To think that followers of the demon king would appear again..."
"There are rumors of demons in other territories." Sable reported, "But, the only place where the murders are taking place is Aphton."
"It's really happening. They're back for revenge." The Marquess sighed.
About 50 years ago, the father of the Marquess killed one of the lords of the demons in an attempt to make the demons split.
"Sable." The Marquess called.
"Yes, Marquess."
"The demons will be erased from the world again, by the hands of the Bell's!!" The Marquess shouted.
"I await your orders." Sable bowed.
"Let's stop here for today." The Marquess waved.
"Then I shall take my leave." Sable bowed and started walking away.
"One moment," The Marquess seemed to remember something, "Where did you even meet Jasmine?"
"Ah! I saw her outside, she was being attacked by a monster at the pond." Sable chuckled.
It was the morning, Jasmine sat up and stretched. She smiled and looked outside, however, her peace was short-lived.
"JASMINE!!" Jasmine's mother came bursting into her room, "Are you alright?! Are you hurt?!"
"M-mother...?!" It took Jasmine a while to comprehend what her mother was talking about, "Oh that! Yeah, I was alright thanks to Aide Sable."
"I was so worried! I'm seriously going to punish you if you go out alone at night again!"
"Okay..." Jasmine pouted.
"Don't answer so half-heartedly!"
"I made sure to ask people to block out that area, I guess they made a mistake..." The Marquess laughed.
"Are you still doing that water monster hunting nonsense?!" Sears shouted at her father, "Didn't mother and I tell you it was dangerous?!"
"S-sable! Come and say hi!!" The Marquess quickly changed the subject.
"It's an honor to meet you." Sable bowed, "My name is Sable."
"I'm Sears Bell, I heard it was thanks to you that Jasmine is safe." Sears smiled.
"I'm sure that she would've been able to defeat the monster on her own. It was an honor to see what she's capable of with my own eyes."
Jasmine saw that this man was practically perfect. He was strong and Quick-witted. However, Jasmine felt as if there was something strange about him, she just couldn't tell what.
"Jasmine..." Sears turned back to her daughter, "I'm not even nearly done with what I want to say..." Sears smacked her daughter on the back of her head.
"Ack! I-Is that so...?" Jasmine's neck was already sore.
"Looks like my granddaughter will get indigestion before she eats anything." The Marquess laughed.
"Grandfather..." Jasmine called for help.
"Okay, okay, Jasmine. You want to come along with me, huh?" The Marquess said as Jasmine followed him out.
"J-Jasmine? Father? Where are you two going?" Sears shouted.
Jasmine was walking on the streets, she dyed her hair black and wore her usual brown cloak. Jasmine had barely made it out of the estate due to the harsh restrictions her mother had put on her.
