Jasmine sat with her eyes closed and her legs crossed. She slowly opened her eyes. She was resting a bit, half sleeping, half in deep thought.

"Ha..." Jasmine sighed, "How long did I rest for?"

"About an hour, you were so relaxed!" Ricky responded.

"The rain's so heavy, and it's so boring..." Anthony complained.

"Would you like me to tell a story?" Jasmine offered.

"Yeah!" Anthony was excited.

Jasmine thought about the stories that she collected over the years. She looked out the window, recognizing the mountains. This was probably a true story but Jasmine was going to play dumb.

"Well, there's a legend about this place! There's a reason that they're called the Masato mountains." Jasmine said.

"Wow!" Anthony sounded excited to hear a story.

"That would be great! Anthony loves these stories!" Ricky smiled.

Jasmine chuckled, "Well, it's a legend from a long, long time ago. When dragons flew in the skies and elves roamed the mountains. At that time Masato Moutainrange was still a single mountain. But on one peaceful day, two dragons appeared here. One was an evil black dragon, and the other was a good blue dragon, his name was Masato. Masato had a lover who was a human mage, but a human and dragon could not be together. Because the dragon god Brahman wouldn't accept such a thing, he sent the black dragon to kill the mage!" Jasmine hated all Gods, but she tried to say this as calmly as possible, "In the battle, the mountain was split into many different sections, and gorges were created where violent torrents flowed through! Through the desperate struggle, the black dragon was eventually driven out, but in the end, Masato's lover died while trying to help him. Masato, after sending his lover off that way, hid deep in the mountains for her return." Jasmine felt sad just telling the story.

"Is that when the rain begins to fall like this without end?" Anthony asked.

"That's right! You're so smart!" Jasmine complimented, "That's why many people started to call it "dragon's rain"."

"Jasmine, what are the chances that-" Ricky was cut off when a lighting bolt struck the front of the carriage.

"Ack!!" Anthony cried as Ricky held his brother tight.

"It's alright!" Sears held Samuel in her arms, "There's nothing to worry about! Isn't that right, Jasmine?" Sears was a bit nervous herself.

"Yes of course." Jasmine assured her mother, "The rain's just a bit rough."

Jasmine lied to her mother to make sure that she wouldn't be nervous. Jasmine knew that something was off, like someone had planned that lightning strike.

Soon another bolt of lightning hit a tree making it fall on the carriage. The carriage immediately stopped, the doors swung open and Sears and Samuel fell out.

"MOTHER!! SAMUEL!!" Jasmine leapt out of the carriage.

"JASMINE!" Sears called to her child, "Grab Samuel first!!"

"I can save both of you!" Jasmine called.

Jasmine put her hands in a formation, activating a high class ability called Wire play. The light blue treads wrapped around Jasmine's mother, lifting her up onto solid ground. Jasmine sighed in relief, she hadn't felt so stressed in a while.

Suddenly, another bolt of lightning hit the carriage, knocking Jasmine down and making her slip on the muddy floor.

"Jasmine!!" Sears called.

"It's okay! I'll just use-"

A sudden unexplainable burning in her heart suddenly stopped her magic. She recognized it, she had felt it many times before. Mana Burn! This is when someone's magic ability is so great that it smothers out any other mana.

"Who are you?" A voice called in her head, "Are you... A dragon?"

Jasmine fell into the water with a splash, struggling to resurface. She had learned how to swim in her last life but not in this one. Sear watched in horror from above, a knight tried to pull her back, however, she kept running forward.

"JASMINE!!" Sears shrieked, "Let me go! My daughter's down there!!"

"Madam!" The knight tried to calm Sears down.

"She's over there!!"

"Madam, please calm down!"

Suddenly, a calming golden aura appeared. Sears looked over with tears in her eyes. There she saw Ricky standing patiently.

"I apologize, but I suddenly wish to help..." Ricky summoned more of his divine mana.

"Ricky..." Sears whispered.

"M-mommy..." Samuel held onto Anthony's pant leg, "Sister..."

Sir Ras quickly made his way over to Sears, kneeling down on one knee.

"It may be presumptuous to say, but I'm sure that Jasmine is alright." Sir Ras informed Sears, "These aren't just empty words; I know exactly how talented Jasmine is. The torrents may be dangerous but once Jasmine's magic returns, she'll be able to survive with no problems." Sir Ras explained, "So I shall go down there! I'm sure that I'll be able to survive!"

"Sir!" Ricky shouted.

"Those torrents are even dangerous for you!" The leader said.

"Just three hours Madam! Three hours and I will bring Jasmine back here with me!"

Sears sighed, "Alright, even if you're a divine paladin, the torrents are still dangerous. However, despite knowing that, I still ask this favor of you... Please... return with my daughter, Jasmine!"

"Yes! I shall definitely return!" Sir Ras was on one knee, holding Sears hand.

Jasmine woke up in a drowsy state, her surroundings were dark but illuminated by small sources of light. She was in a cave, her arms and legs were bound to chains made of mana, locking her in place. Jasmine didn't understand what was going on, who would do such a thing...?

"It seems as though you're awake." A voice called.

Jasmine lifted her head to see a blue haired man. He had long hair and horns on the side of his head. He wore white robes with golden designs etched onto it. He had a muscular physique and an overwhelming amount of mana around him.

"Are you... A dragon?"
