Sasuke darted from building to building, effortlessly clearing wide gaps with his enhanced speed. As he neared Pietro's house, he glanced up, spotting the ships Maria had mentioned hovering in the distance. His gaze narrowed in determination as he channeled chakra into his legs, propelling himself upward with explosive force.

*FWOOSH*

The building beneath him shuddered as its roof buckled under the intensity of his jump. Undeterred, Sasuke focused on the ship above, knowing the area below was clear. Using the collapsing rooftop as a springboard, he launched himself even higher into the air.

But as he ascended, it became clear that his leap wasn't enough to reach the ship. In one swift motion, he drew a kunai attached to a wire and hurled it with precision.

The kunai soared toward the metal hull but fell just short, missing its target by mere inches.

"Rgh!" Sasuke growled in frustration. Without hesitation, he activated his Rinnegan, swapping places with the kunai mid-air.

Just as he reached out to grasp the ship's surface, the ship accelerated, slipping out of his reach.

Now plummeting from a dangerous height, Sasuke sighed, unfazed by the situation. He quickly scanned his surroundings, spotting another ship flying below him. Calculating his trajectory, he prepared another kunai, attached to a wire to it. As he descended closer to the ship, he threw the kunai with precise timing, embedding it into the metal hull.

Sasuke gripped the wire and swung himself toward the ship's side. With a burst of chakra, he punched the door, forcing it open with a resounding crash.

The Atlasian pilots turned in shock as Sasuke stepped into the cockpit. One of them immediately reached for a weapon, but Sasuke, moving in a blur, slammed their heads together, rendering them unconscious in an instant.

"Hn," Sasuke muttered as he surveyed the scene. "I need your ship."

Atlas Academy

General Ironwood sat in his office, surrounded by paperwork that seemed to pile up endlessly. He is the General of Atlas, a title that once inspired admiration and respect. Now, that same title was a source of scorn and resentment. Ironwood had made the difficult decision to recall all Atlas personnel back to the floating city, leaving Mantle to fend for itself. The people of Mantle, suffering from neglect, had turned their hatred toward him.

Mantle was a shadow of its former self, a declining city overshadowed by the wealth and prosperity of Atlas above. The once-thriving town now had crumbling infrastructure, a declining economy, and citizens who struggled to make ends meet. Ironwood's decision to impose martial law had only made things worse. The military presence on the streets of Mantle felt more like an occupation than protection, with strict curfews and soldiers patrolling every corner.

Ironwood paused his writing, his hand trembling as he covered his eyes, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. The weight of his decisions was crushing, the burden of leadership too much to bear alone.

"Ozpin... If only you were here... I... We need you," he whispered, his voice filled with sorrow and regret. He felt so isolated, so burdened by the responsibility of defending both Atlas and Mantle. Without Ozpin's guidance, he was forced to rely solely on his own judgment, and the cracks were beginning to show.

A knock at the door interrupted his thoughts. Ironwood quickly composed himself, wiping away the tears that had formed.

"Come in," he commanded, his voice firm, though the weariness still lingered.

The door opened to reveal Clover Ebi, the leader of the Ace Ops, standing tall and resolute. Behind him were the members of his elite team, each of them carrying weapons-and something else. A familiar cane.
