Sasuke's cold gaze pierced through the dust cloud that Neo had created. His Susano'o stood tall, its skeletal ribs protecting him from every angle. Tyrian, still seething with frustration, paced back and forth, looking for any sign of weakness. But Neo remained calm, her mind racing, plotting her next move.
Despite Sasuke's overwhelming power, Neo wasn't one to give up so easily. She had always been able to turn the tide in seemingly impossible situations, and this would be no different.
Tyrian, licking his lips, was growing impatient. "Enough of these games!" he shouted, rushing at Sasuke once more, his blades clashing uselessly against the ethereal ribs of the Susano'o.
Sasuke barely flinched, watching Tyrian's attacks with mild disinterest. "Is this really all you've got?" he muttered.
As Tyrian's assaults continued to bounce off the impenetrable defense, Neo's eyes narrowed. She noticed something—the ribs of the Susano'o, while almost indestructible, weren't entirely rigid. There were the faintest hints of movement when Sasuke turned to deflect attacks, tiny moments where the Susano'o adjusted to his command. It was subtle, but if she could exploit even the smallest gap...
'That's it,' she thought. 'Just a bit more disruption ... I might be able to get through those gaps!'
Without a sound, Neo disappeared again in a blur of pink petals, reappearing just behind Tyrian. This time, she reached into her coat and pulled out a small, round device—a flash bomb she'd been saving for the right moment. She gave Tyrian a quick nod, signaling him to prepare.
Tyrian's grin returned in full force as he charged forward recklessly. "Die, Sasuke Rose!" he bellowed, feigning madness even as his true intentions aligned with Neo's plan.
Sasuke, expecting more of the same useless attacks, raised his sword and swung down, but just as he did, Neo tossed the flash bomb directly into the air. The bomb detonated with a blinding burst of light, filling the narrow hallway with a searing brightness.
Sasuke's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan flared, automatically countering the flash, but the distraction was enough. His focus wavered for a fraction of a second—just long enough for Neo to make her move.
With incredible speed, Neo leapt from behind Tyrian and slashed at the exact point where the Susano'o's ribs shifted. Her parasol was imbued with sharp precision, and as she struck, the force of her blow, combined with the momentum, caused a slight fracture to appear on the surface of the Susano'o's ribs.
Sasuke's eyes widened in shock as he felt the impact reverberate through the Susano'o.
'What...?' he thought, his mind racing. 'They actually cracked it...'
Neo didn't waste a second. With the crack now exposed, she kicked off the ground, spinning gracefully through the air, aiming her parasol directly at Sasuke's head. For a moment, it seemed as though she might actually land a direct hit.
But just before her parasol could reach him, Sasuke's reflexes kicked in. He summoned more chakra, and the Susano'o's ribs quickly regenerated, reforming into an even stronger barrier. The ethereal hand of the Susano'o shot out and swatted Neo away, sending her crashing to the floor.
Neo tumbled, but landed gracefully on her feet, already preparing for another strike.
"You almost had me there," Sasuke said, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. "But it won't happen again."
Tyrian's eyes gleamed with excitement, seeing the small crack Neo had managed to create. "Almost doesn't count, Sasuke!" he yelled, lunging forward again. "We'll break you eventually!"
