Ironwood stood beside Clover in the elevator, the steady hum of machinery a constant reminder of the gravity of their situation. His face was set in grim determination, the weight of his responsibilities pressing heavily upon him.

As the elevator reached its destination with a soft ding, the doors slid open to reveal a sterile hallway lined with interrogation rooms. Ironwood's eyes were fixed on the row ahead, his mind racing with the implications of what lay beyond.

"Sir, shall we start with the oldest?" Clover suggested, his tone professional but tinged with concern. "Most of them are kids, and there's only one who is a licensed huntsman. According to his license, he's from Vale."

Ironwood's gaze shifted to Clover, his expression hardening with resolve. "And you're certain they're all from Vale?"

"Most likely, sir," Clover confirmed, then handed Ironwood a scroll. "This is from the workshop where we apprehended them. It contains all the information we managed to extract, including this."

Ironwood unfurled the scroll and his eyes widened in recognition. The name on the scroll made his heart race as he quickly made his way to Qrow's cell.

With a burst of urgency, Ironwood pushed through the door leading to Qrow's room. Seeing Qrow shackled with gravity cuffs, looking up with a mixture of defiance and exhaustion, Ironwood's pulse quickened.

"Qrow!" Ironwood exclaimed, his voice filled with a blend of relief and astonishment.

Qrow's eyes lit up with a wry smile. "James? Didn't think you'd be the one to interrogate me."

Ironwood stepped into the room, his face a mask of concern. "What on Remnant are you doing here?"

Qrow looked up, his expression weary yet amused. "Long story, Jim. And if you could do something about these cuffs? They're really digging into my wrists."

Ironwood signaled to the guards, who quickly removed the gravity cuffs. As they fell away, Qrow rubbed his wrists gratefully.

"It's good to see you, old friend," Ironwood said, his voice softening. "But stealing an Atlas ship? You could've been shot down or worse."

Qrow shrugged, a wry smile playing on his lips. "Desperate times, right? It was the only way to get to you. With the situation in Mantle, we didn't have many options."

Ironwood's brow furrowed with concern. "What's the urgency? Why go through all this trouble?"

Qrow's expression grew serious. "Ozpin. He knew something was going on here and needed to make sure you were informed. We're not here to cause trouble; we're here to help."

Ironwood's eyes widened in shock. "Ozpin? He's with you?"

"Yes," Qrow confirmed, nodding. "But I think we should move this conversation to a more secure location, I've spent enough time in interrogation rooms to know when we're being watched."

Ironwood nodded with understanding, "Very well. Follow me."

Before they left, Qrow added, "Also, I'd like the kids to be freed from their cuffs. They know... about her."

Ironwood understood immediately. Qrow was referring to Salem. He sighed deeply, then gestured for the guards to release the remaining prisoners.

As they exited the room, Ironwood recognized the kids from Amity Collosium. He smiled at the kids as he led Qrow and the others to his office. The hallway was filled with an uneasy silence, broken only by the sound of their footsteps.

Atlas, Ironwood's Office

Ironwood opened the door to his office with a welcoming gesture. "Please, come in. It's good to see all of you."
