28 - Grimm Invasion

Rooftops, Cinder, Mercury.

Cinder woke from her slumber, She was confused about what just happened on why she was unconscious. She couldn't remember what happened, but she heard a voice behind her.

"You're finally awake!" Mercury spoke to Cinder. Cinder was still processing what was going on.

"What.. Happened?" Cinder asked Mercury as she stood up.

"Sasuke Rose knocked you out. Tyrian's currently fighting him- Woah!" Mercury was interrupted by an earthquake as he held on to the bars of the rooftop.

"Wh-what was that?!" He blurted as he composed himself.

"My scroll- It's gone! Mercury, we have to find it! We can't make our big entrance without that scroll!" Cinder spouted as she sweats.

"S-Sasuke got it! He stole it when you were unconscious!"

"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" Cinder yelled as she and Mercury went back inside the dorm building.

Their eyes widened to see Tyrian was wrapped by a thick rope. They noticed his stinger was gone.

'The brat defeated Tyrian?! What is he...?' Cinder grumbled in her thoughts, without delay, she went outside the dorm building along with Mercury. They saw them, Ruby and Sasuke, running across the courtyard to the Colosseum.

In a fit of rage, Cinder activated her Maiden powers as she flew through the air to catch up to Sasuke and Ruby.

"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!" Cinder shot multiple fireballs at them. Sasuke, who is still tired and has low chakra, took notice of Cinder's fireballs too late. He was hit in the back, thankfully, his aura activated just in time, but the fireball was enough to break his aura once again. He lets go of the scroll as he bumps on the ground.

Sasuke groaned with a thud. Ruby looked back at Sasuke with a concerned face, and she ran at Sasuke.

"SASUKE!" She yelled, she went to him and she kneeled to check up on Sasuke.

Cinder landed next to her scroll. She then picked it up and she grinned.

"You think you could stop the inevitable? This school is doomed." Cinder said to Ruby as she let them be. They were gonna die in the invasion anyway. Or so, that's what she thought. She flew away with the scroll in her hand.

"Sasuke, wake up! We need to stop Cinder! C'mon!" Ruby begins to shed tears, Sasuke isn't waking up.

Amity Colosseum.

The audience let out a shocked gasp as they saw Penny get ripped in half.

Pyrrha was confused, she accidentally killed her opponent. She was frightened of what she had just done. She stared at the lifeless metallic body of Penny. The Arena lights turned off, they were then replaced by a red screen with a king chess piece logo in the middle.

Pyrrha couldn't move, she must be in a nightmare. That's what she thought.

"What are you waiting for?! Turn off the broadcast!" Dr.Oobleck spouted on his radio.

"We can't! Someone must've broken through the system-" The leading officer of the control panel was abruptly interrupted by Cinder's scroll.

"Hello? Can you hear me? HEY!" Dr.Oobleck panicked as he then heard the sound of wings flapping, It screeched through the sky, It was a Nevermore.

Students, Civilians, and Huntsmen are shocked to see a Nevermore on the Colosseum.

The automatic emergency system is activated, and alarms are booming inside the Colosseum.
