" Jebreino Fuentes was last seen inside a restaurant hotel in Quezon City with Albert Ainsworth, one of the highly known leaders of a drug syndicate in Afghanistan. It's a private meeting, though one of our assets managed to gather some information about that matter," Police Corporal Sandoval said. He's standing in front of me, reporting about that dirty old man. It's been two weeks, but the pieces of information seem to look like a spiral, going around in circles- Fuentes would go on a meeting with someone in that same place and after that, he would go back to the hotel.

I slightly rubbed my eyebrows while reading the papers Sandoval had given me earlier. I know he's doing his job, better than the other officials that the general assigned to help me in this mission but . . . without any further and new details then this case won't scooch forward.

" How about the one we sent out to watch over Jiro Fuentes? It is been a week after we sent them, " I sighed. I have a feeling that his son is the core. I just need some evidence for that assumption.

Jiro was only twenty years old but, I don't base it on a person's age or gender, especially in terms like this. His father was a known drug lord and maybe after Jebreino, he would be next in that position. So there is a possibility that Jebreino works for his son's future or maybe Jiro is now the leader and he's just using his father's alliance. But like what I've said I don't have proof to support that.

I looked up at him when he started to answer my question. " According to our assets, Jiro Fuentes only goes to the university where he studied, to the bar in the central town flirting with girls and his girlfriend Brianne, and after going back to Villa de Arvientos. They also noticed that his drinking habit was as frequent as before, seems the boy had some problems," he asserted while seriously looking at me.

" Jebreino won't be this hard to catch," I said in frustration. We had so many chances to apprehend Fuentes but every time we were in the place, he would vanish so quickly out of our sight. Just like what happened in Italy- another failed mission by the previous official handling this case. We were only the ones who knew that Fuentes was here in the Philippines. It's a private case so, we always have to be careful as fuck! His head is more valuable than gold; every alliance that he had was worth a billion dollars. Authorities try to get ahead to seize Jebreino Fuentes.

" Sir. . . according to our assets. Jiro Fuentes somehow had a previous connection to that girl." He's pointing to Dnyiean. Sandoval knew about her, he was also the one I'd assigned to look for the other information about Dnyiean. I don't want to bother Klein, he's up to something.

" Jiro Fuentes is the ex-boyfriend of Mendoza." I averted my gaze on him when he uttered those words. I know that Dnyiane had a previous boyfriend according to his friends. I'm not a gossiper. I'm just curious so I asked Rimmy about Dnyiean. But I didn't expect that its Jiro Fuentes, the son of that old man.

The fact that Dnyiean had a boyfriend before doesn't bother me or make me jealous anymore. It's just only existed in the past and not in the present. They broke up for an unexplained reason. And it looks like Dnyiean already moved on based on my observations and what her friends said. I'm already a grown-up man and not a guy or a boy anymore that always been jealous for that kind of information that they knew about the girl that they love. I believe that if you love a person, even if they had past relationships, or should I say whatever their past was, you should accept them as the way they are. Soon I will be the present of Dnyiean and I could be her future, if she opens her heart again. I'm just waiting for her to open up that door.

There was something inside my head concluding on it. What if the previous connection between Jiro and Dyiean is somehow the reason behind what happened to her? But fuck! How he can do that to Dnyiean? My thoughts were now in chaos.
