My mind raced as I tried to piece together what was happening. Who could be behind this? One of my victims? No, that didn’t make sense. My kills were clean, precise. I never left loose ends.
Then who?
I ran through the possibilities, but nothing made sense. And the more I thought about it, the more frustrated I became. Sai had nothing to do with any of this. He didn’t deserve to be caught up in my world.
I had to find him.
But where to start? The note didn’t give any clues, and I didn’t even know who I was looking for. It could be anyone.
I needed more information.
I tried reaching out to our agency, asking if anyone had seen Sai recently. But no one knew anything. It was as if he had vanished.
Time was running out, and the pressure was mounting. I couldn’t afford to let this person whoever they were get the upper hand.
