It was supposed to be another ordinary day at the agency photoshoots, meetings, the usual. But that day, something was different. Someone new had joined the agency. A new model, they said, someone with the potential to rise quickly in the industry.
His name was Yama Sai.
The first time I saw him, I felt something shift inside me something cold and angry. Yama Sai was tall, lean, and undeniably handsome. He had that effortless charm that people seem to fall for without even realizing it. But what irritated me the most wasn’t his looks. It was the way he acted.
Sai was friendly too friendly. From the moment he arrived, he seemed determined to make everyone like him, including me. He greeted me with a wide smile, as if we were already old friends. "Kazuki, right? I’ve heard a lot about you. Looking forward to working together!"
I didn’t respond. I simply nodded and walked away. I wasn’t interested in making friends, especially not with someone like him.
But Sai didn’t get the hint. He kept trying. Every time we were in the same room, he’d find a way to be near me, talking about this and that, trying to pull me into conversations I had no interest in. He was clingy, always trying to close the distance between us.
It irritated me to no end.
