Holy fuck it's been a while, but I had exams and then I went camping right after. Also, I have so many other fanfics I want to write (I'll probably be writing a fanfic with cemeteryxxdrive soon on this account so I'll let you guys know about it). But yeah, sweet. Btw, this chapter will mainly be flashbacks
Oh and this wasn't planned, but I randomly started writing a new Kellic. It's called The Definition Of Not Leaving, if you want to check that out.

Chapter 24
Vic's P.O.V.

"Fuentes, you're late." Iero says to me when I walk in. That's odd; he barely ever speaks to me. Is Sykes not here today? Usually he's the one who's on look out.

"I had things to do." I tell him, crossing my arms. By things, I mean looking after my little brother and telling him to stay home tonight. I don't want him leaving the house.

"Uh huh, okay. But do I care? No sir." He says 'sir' with as much venom as possible. I know he's my superior, but the kid is uptight and rude. Frankly, I think he's a little bitch.

"Right." I say with a roll of my eyes, heading down the hall to go find Louis, the guy who coordinates the tasks. This system is weird. Apparently it's not a gang, it's an underground corporation. I think it's just some messed up group that I got caught up in to make extra cash.

I find Louis easily, because he's either always making out with Harry in the back room or sitting there telling people what they're doing tonight.

Sure enough, when I walk into the room, Louis is making out with Harry. I cough, trying to get the attention of one of them so I can be told what I have to do tonight.

They jump apart after my second time clearing my throat and Louis sighs, "Okay Vic.. Vic Fuentes, what are you doing today?" He thinks about it a bit and then he nods, "Right. I know." And then he gives me this look full of pity.

"What?" I ask."

"You're working with your brother tonight."

"Shit!" Mike says, running into my room. It's been weeks since he joined this group, weeks since I've been stressing and worrying for my little brother.

"What? What's going on?" I ask him when he wont stop pacing in my room.

"I messed up." He says in a trembling voice, "Last night, I messed up. We've been exposed. I screwed up Vic, I screwed up. The cops are going to find us and we're all going to get arrested."

My face blanches as he keeps rambling on. I know what happens to the people who put the group in danger of being caught. I know exactly what happens.

"Fuck." I mutter, getting up and rushing around to find my phone. I have to call Hayley. She's the brains in our unit, the one who fixes the problems. She'll help us. She has to.

"What are you doing Vic?" Mike asks, panic and sorrow  for his life still dripping off of his every word.

"I'm going to call Hayley, and we're going to fix things. You're going to be fine Mike." I try my best to reassure him, but it sounds like I'm trying to reassure myself, not him. This is my fault. I'm the one who got him into this, I'm the one who didn't watch him close enough. He was out of my sights and he's my responsibility. The head is going to be pissed. Which is why I need to call Hayley and fix things pronto.

Hayley picks up after the fifth ring, "Vic?"

"Hayley, I need your help with something. Now. Are you free?" I ask, trying to keep myself calm so she doesn't freak out and worry.
