"Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life? Say yes, say yes 'cause I need to know"

Mattheo POV

As Aurora left to help the house elves with cooking, the two men standing before me swiftly changed their expressions. Sirius was straight up glaring at me while Regulus's expressions were less obvious. Their faces were painted with clear dismay at my presence. I can understand because I am stealing away their only daughter and niece from their perspective. It's obvious the black family cares deeply about Aurora, which I am thankful for, however, I think it's time for them to hand her over to me. And I will make sure I earn their trust after this visit.

Sirius clears his throat, snapping me out of my thoughts. He gestures at the chair across from the sofa they were sitting on.

"Take a seat, Mattheo" He said my name with great caution.

I quickly took a seat on the chair which smelled like a fresh cut of flowers. A quiet smirk creeps over my face when I realize this is Aurora's scent.

"So, what are your intentions with my daughter?" Sirius crosses his arms.

I respond without hesitation "I intend to be with your daughter for the rest of my life. I love her more than anyone in the world. I will protect her with my life, I will give her anything she wants. With your permission, I intend to marry her in the future."

Sirius and Regulus exchange surprised glances before turning back to me. Sirius's expression seems to soften a little.

"Is this serious? How long have you two been together?"

I nod "Even though we've only recently got together, I take our relationship very seriously, and I am dating her with marriage in mind."

A smile spreads across Regulus Black's face upon hearing my declaration of love towards his niece.

"You really love her, don't you?" He chuckled.

I nodded "I love her with all my heart"

Sirius glares at his brother in disapproval. He sighs before turning back to face me directly.

"Just because I let you date her for now, doesn't mean I will let you join our family."

He leans forward "Listen Mattheo, if you ever hurt my precious daughter, I will end your life with my bare hands. And if you want to marry her, you'll have to earn my trust, and that won't be easy"

I lean back on my chair chuckling "If I ever hurt her I would end my own life before you can end mine, promise. Sir, I will try my best to earn your trust, I'm hoping to join your family in the future."

"We'll see about that" Sirius glares at me intensely.

"Dad! Didn't I tell you not to interrogate my boyfriend? He's not a wanted criminal!" Aurora runs into the room.

She rushes over to my side, throwing her arms around me. I cling to her waist engulfing her in a tight hug.

"I was simply asking him questions Rora!" Sirius replies.

"Well, it didn't seem like talking, looked more like you were threatening him!" She huffs angrily.

I chuckle upon seeing her cute puffed-up cheeks and angry expression. If only we were alone, I would've pulled her in for a deep kiss.

"It's alright, princess. I'm not afraid of your father's threats" I whispered to her.

She pouts before lifting her palms to cup my face "Come with me before they can interrogate you even more"

I shoot her a cheeky smile "Where are you taking me? Perhaps, somewhere we can be alone?"

She smirks "There this place called my room, that I've been wanting to show you. We can go there now, or if you like you can stay here with my overprotective father and uncle and let them continue threatening you, your choice?"

"As much as I love to be threatened, I think the first option is a better choice."

I stood up and held my hand out for Aurora. She smiles and interlocks our fingers. We quickly head upstairs into her room, slamming the door shut. She squeals as I pick her up, her arms and legs wrapping tightly around my body.

"Since we have some time before dinner, would you like to do something fun?" I smirk.

She shoots me a knowing smile before leaning in and whispering "Something fun, you say?"

She gasps as I throw her onto her bed before crawling on top of her "Yes, but we'll have to keep quiet, or else your dad will come in and murder me"

Then I lean in crashing my lips against hers, driving my tongue deep into her mouth, kissing her like a starving man. She was equally as desperate, as she grabbed onto my hair to pull me down on top of her. Her lips were demanding more as she moaned softly in pleasure.

I momentarily break the kiss to whisper against her lips

"I love you, Aurora Black"
