The girls, Chanty and along with the entire squad, are currently enjoying a relaxed and jovial evening at Lisa's penthouse. Their laughter and fun conversations fill the air, creating a natural soundtrack against the backdrop of the soothing night breeze. They planned a celebratory gathering on the rooftop, where the city lights of Gangnam District would twinkle beneath a sky full of stars.
The girls and Chanty had come up with the idea for the small celebration after the squad and the entire YG basketball team secured a win in their second game of the season against South Korea University. It was a close match, but the YG Timberwolves' performance had noticeably improved thanks to their strengthened team chemistry.
Sehun, Chanyeol, and Mark only played the first quarter, and Coach Lee allowed the rest of the players to finish the game, ultimately securing their second victory. Meanwhile, Kai was still absent, and Coach Lee had just received a message from him explaining that he was out of the country due to personal matters. As a result, Coach Lee decided to keep Kai off the roster for at least a week or two.
"Whoa! Did Jen and Lisa just pull a full-on make-out session in the classroom, with all of Jen's classmates as their audience? Poor Yunjin was there too, looking like she had just swallowed a lemon. You could practically see the 'I want to be her' vibes radiating off her! And when the first time I saw the video on Facebook, I was like, 'Nope, my eyeballs must be playing tricks on me,' so I practically inhaled my phone to double-check," Nayeon declared, her hand casually resting on Jeongyeon's thigh, as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
"Seriously though, this is going to be the juiciest gossip in University's history. The rumors are gonna be flying like pigeons in a park, for the next ten years," she added, a mischievous glint in her eye.
Nayeon, Sana, Irene, Chanty, Seulgi, and Jeongyeon were already lounging comfortably on the rooftop couches, having just finished their part of the celebration preparations. Rosie and Jisoo were busy tending to the grill, the tantalizing aroma of barbeque and hotdogs filling the air. Meanwhile, Jennie, Lisa, and Tzuyu were finishing up inside the penthouse, gathering the rest of the food and drinks for their night of revelry.
"My jaw hit the floor, and my phone decided to take a dive right after—apparently, it couldn't handle the shock of seeing that video on my Instagram feed either!" Chanty exclaimed, her voice laced with amusement.
"I immediately called Jennie Unnie, and she confirmed everything! She even admitted to bribing her classmate to post it on every social media platform imaginable. Apparently, someone had really ticked her off, so she decided to announce their relationship with a bang. And you know what? As her future sister-in-law, I approve! It's bold, it's brave, it's... slay, " she added, grinning proudly.
