Chapter 20

IRENE'S POV

THURSDAY, 9:45 in the morning.

Yeah, today is Thursday which means the result for SGC Election will be revealed now. I and the girls just had a quick snack and we are now heading to the office of SGC. It will be revealed to us first before they posted it to all the bulletin boards, and school websites and announce it via campus speaker. Jennie and I are not alone the other 3 are with us. They are so much supportive you know.

" Wifey, why are you so quiet? You are not making any noise since we enter the campus." Rosie asked Jennie. We all looked at Jen.

" Yeah, I noticed it too. Do you have a problem, Jen? You can spill it to us" Sana spoke as we stop from walking.

I faced Jennie. " Tell us Jendeuki, what's wrong?" I worriedly asked. We know she is not the most talkative among us but it feels strange if she is not making any noise. We know there is something off with her.

I heard her small sigh.

" Maybe nervous about the result?" She said, sounding unsure of her answer.

" I know it's normal to feel that way but for all the years that you run for the organization, this is the first time you said you are nervous. The Jennie Kim we know is confident enough to feel nervous when it comes to this" Nayeon said. They nodded their heads agreeing with Nayeon.

" Is it because of him?" I asked and she immediately lowered her head. This time I am the one who sighed.

" You're nervous because of him? Is it nervous or more of a worry Jen? Are you worried about the fact that he may lose to Lisa?" I asked her several questions.

" You don't want Lisa to win against, him Jen? But she's your running mate, not him" Sana said.

" Of course, I want my running mate to win not because she's my running mate. I didn't know her personally but every day she's proving that she deserved the chance that Ms.Jessi and the University gave to her. I didn't know why I feel this. Maybe because somehow I am afraid of what he will do if he loses." Jennie explained.

"He really gave you a big trauma" I whispered as what happened in the past popped up in my mind.

" Wifey, we need to be optimistic. People around him said he change a lot at least we need to think that way." Rosie said trying to lessen the worries that Jennie felt.

" Besides, he's a man. I assumed he was more mature now than before. He should know how to take a loss." Nayeon spoke.

I held both of her shoulders and faced her," Jendeuki, listen whatever the result will be it's not your concern anymore. Please don't let him occupy your mind again." I said looking into her eyes, she nodded. We didn't say anything we hug her immediately.

Look what you've done to her. I mentally said.

We pulled from the hug and Rosie cheerfully said," Okay we should go now! I can't wait to hear my wifey's and baechu's name associated with the word 'winning'!"

" Yah! Hubby, don't shout." Jennie covered Rosie's mouth and pull the chipmunk with her and walk ahead of us. We chuckled, Jennie can change her mood faster than flash. We followed them.

Jennie taps the bell button of the office. As soon as it bells the door opened revealing Ms. Jessi smiling warmly at us.

" Come inside" Jennie and I followed Ms. Jessi. While Sana, Rosie, and Nayeon are still swiping their YG Gray Cards. They must swipe it first since they don't have an appointment here unlike us who already had access here since we are candidates for the SGC election we were one of the previous officers too. They are just here to go with us.
