" Good afternoon, Miss Kim. '' One of the caretakers of the dogs greeted me.
I went to the Dog Daycare to fetch Kai and Kuma. I have 2 dogs, Kai is a cocker-spaniel while Kuma is a brown pomeranian. I dropped them here earlier before I went to our Company to visit Dad and the company as well. I just thought of bringing them here for them to see their friends. Oh, by the way, if you are thinking that my cocker-spaniel dog was named after Kai, my suitor, you're wrong. Oppa Jin was the one who gave name to him. It's our first dog and Kai has been with us for 8 years now while Kuma is 4 years.
" Good afternoon, Sophia" I greeted her back.
" Kai and Kuma are still having fun with their friends in the playground, Miss Kim '' Sophia informed me.
I smile hearing that they are enjoying themselves here with their friends. I feel like a happy Mom knowing my kids are making friends with others.
Sophia guided me to the playground. She's the one who is assigned to Kai and Kuma.
She's about to call the two but I hold her shoulder and shake my head, " I want to watch them playing. Besides, I have nothing else to do. They can play until they see me and stop" I said and she nodded.
I sat on the mini bench watching Kuma running around chasing another pomeranian dog while Kai was busy cuddling with a golden retriever dog.
Only 5 minutes have passed watching the 2. I can sense someone is staring at me. I looked around and I saw a giant dog with both eyes on me. I suddenly feel conscious under the dog's gaze. I don't have any idea what breed of the dog but s/he is huge. It's not moving at all, it's just sitting on the ground and staring at me without blinking. Well, I am not scared though I feel conscious of the stares.

" Is he staring at you, Miss Kim?" I heard Sophia behind me.
" He? So, that giant adorable dog is a boy" I muttered. Sophia looked at me asking for permission if she could sit beside me, I nodded.
She sat and started to talk about the giant dog that is still staring at me.
" He looks like a wolf but he is an utonagan. They are a pretty rare dog breed. They might look aggressive because of their facial and size but they are not an aggressive dog breed but they are friendly and loving dogs. However, in the case of Apollo, he's not aggressive but he's distant from people"
" So, his name is Apollo. Why is he distant from people?" I asked.
" As per his new owner, Apollo is a survivor after being physically abused by his previous owners and abandoned in the middle of the forest being chained in a Mahogany tree. They believe it was chained there for a year but Apollo is miraculously still alive after being starved for a year. That's why we understand if he is having a tough time trusting people. His new owner who was the one who rescued him as well in the forest used to bring Apollo here in the hope that at least he can make friends with other dogs. However, even with other dogs, he is so distant. He is always in that spot staring at nothing. He is not even interested in watching other dogs playing around him." Sophia said and smiled sadly.
