AT THE MAIN CAFETERIA

How would I put this? Well, having lunch with Chaeyoung's "friends" at the same table isn't really awkward. But there's this inexplicable vibe in the air. I try to concentrate on my food, but they effortlessly draw my attention. It's like they're just going about their own business, yet they have this captivating aura. It's a crime how they can intrigue me without even trying.
No wonder they're already the talk of the campus, and it's only their second day here.
"Bae, are you into them?" Jennie nudged me, speaking in a hushed tone.
"I mean, they're all good-looking, but I'm not sure," I replied, feeling uncertain.
"Ah, that explains why you can't seem to look away," Jennie teased.
Oh, give me a break.
"Wait, you're not attracted to them at all?" I asked, incredulous.
What kind of discerning eye does she have, if any? Maybe her high standards are blinding her.
"Not even a bit," she casually claimed.
That's impossible! She must be lying. Tsk.
"If you don't mind, could you stop whispering? I think they can hear you," Sana quietly advised us.
We glanced over at them, focusing on the girl with a slender nose bridge, petite face framed by a v-shaped jaw, fair complexion, full lips, and perfectly arched eyebrows. Those unmistakable yellow orbs. I think her name is Seulgi, as Chaeyoung mentioned earlier.
Is she looking at us, or specifically at me? Okay, she's looking in our direction, Irene-no need to jump to conclusions, I reassured myself silently.
"OH HEY, BEAUTIFUL LADIES!"
Oh, really? Another attention-grabber, or shall I say, attention-seeker? If Chaeyoung's circle is all about getting attention, these individuals are the ones actively seeking it.
"What do you need, Eunwoo?" Sana queried in a frosty tone.
"Don't bother asking, Sana, if you're not willing to provide what we require," Joohyuk interjected, smirking.
Ugh, what a creep!
"This is a cafeteria. Of course, we're here for lunch. We were just curious why there were no dogs around. That's why we approached you," Eunwoo explained.
