Nestled amidst the verdant hills of Jeollanam-do Province, in South Korea's southwest, stood Pentacrown Palace. A monument to opulence and power, it was the ancestral home of five families that had ascended to the apex of global influence: the Bruschweiler, Kim, Kang, Yoo, and Chou clans. These titans of industry, their names synonymous with unimaginable wealth and innovation, had built empires spanning every facet of the business world. Built twenty-two years ago, the palace served as the epicenter of their lives, a venue for grand gatherings and the resolution of family matters.
Seclusion and exclusivity were the hallmarks of Pentacrown Palace. A ring of steel, stretching for nearly a kilometer, encircled the palace grounds, guarded by a legion of elite security forces. Every corner was kept under constant surveillance, with a network of cameras and sensors skillfully integrated into the palace's elaborate architecture. Even the palace's rooftop, a strategic vantage point, was manned by elite snipers, their scopes trained on the grounds below, ready to neutralize any threat.
These five families were not just wealthy, they were a dynasty, their power eclipsing that of nations. Envy was their constant companion, and avarice their sworn enemy. Their wealth and influence were magnets, drawing the eyes of those who craved what they possessed. Such stringent, almost over-the-top security is a necessity for their safety, not just within their palace, but also at their respective mansions.
Tonight, under Marco's lead, the five families will convene for the second La Riunione di Famiglia (The Second Family Meeting). The first gathering took place when Lisa reached her eighteenth birthday, marking the time when all the members of the squad had attained legal adulthood.
The majority of the family is already assembled at Pentacrown Palace. The only ones still awaited are the squad and a few others who are expected to join them as well.
