INSEPARABLE

Chapter 33

THIRD PERSON'S POV

After the dinner, Lisa had a conversation with Mrs. Kim and Jin while Jennie was just being quiet the whole time. She is attentively listening to Lisa's answers to her Mom and brother's questions. She's intently observing every action that Lisa does. She witnessed that aside from friends, Lisa is not as cold as she is unlike when she is in public places like on campus. Since Lisa is treating her Mom and brother the same way Lisa treats her. She also witnessed how her brother and Mom enjoyed Lisa's company.

After almost 2 hours of conversation, Lisa bid farewell to them. Jin was supposed to accompany Lisa outside but Jennie complained to her brother and insisted she will accompany Lisa instead.

They are now walking side by side towards the garage. Jennie is intentionally taking baby steps so she can have time with Lisa more while Lisa is matching her steps.

"Lisa?" Jennie called, glancing at the tall girl while they were still taking steps toward the garage.

Hearing Jennie, Lisa stopped and faced the girl.

" Yes? What is it, shorty?" She gently asked.

Jennie faced her as well, " Can you stay for a little longer?" she shyly asked.

Lisa bent down to move her face closer to Jennie's. The feline girl suddenly feels nervous in a good way as what happened in the SGC Office flashes back to her head.

Lisa smiles charmingly and softly pats Jennie's head. She nodded which made Jennie's gummy smile appear.

The tall girl knows what is in the head of the shorty kitten.

Lisa stands straight again, " Where can we stay then?" and asks.

" Let's go there" Jennie pointed to the fountain at the side of their mansion where a few benches around it could be seen.

Lisa nodded and held Jennie's back to guide the girl to walk first.

One thing I really like about this annoying tall creature is that she is such a gentlewoman. I didn't know someone like her exists. Like she never misses to be gentlewoman towards me. Jennie thought.

Lisa let her sit on the bench first.

" Thank you" She mouthed while Lisa returned a smile and sat down beside her.

A small but sweet smile unconsciously formed on Jennie's lips when Lisa sat down beside her not minding to give space between them.

" You should wear something aside from a shirt" Lisa mumbled and took off her long coat and wore it to the kitten. Luckily, she is wearing a black turtle neck long sleeve inside, and besides she loves the cold temperature.

Jennie's heart warms upon Lisa's gentleness towards her.

" You don't have to Lisayah. Aren't you cold?" Jennie questioned and tried to take off the coat to give it back but Lisa swiftly and gently put her arms around the short girl's shoulder.

Jennie froze not with the cold temperature but with Lisa's bold action. She glances at Lisa's hand that is firmly holding her shoulder. Not a firm that could hurt her but a firm hold that made her feel protected and cared for.

She lowered her head and bit her lower lip to hold back her smile. But she couldn't stop it anymore when she felt her shoulder being caressed softly by Lisa's big hand. Then, she smoothly leaned her body to Lisa's side.

It feels so warm in her embrace, Jennie thought.

" I'm fine, Shorty. You don't have to be worried about me when it comes to this kind of weather" Lisa said while eyes on the fountain.
