JENNIE'S POV

Did I stir from my slumber too soon?

A quick glance at the clock confirms it's only 5:00 in the morning. Do I exude an air of enthusiasm for being awake at this hour? Not particularly, but perhaps I've had ample rest, which explains my early rise.

In today's fast-paced world, there are generally two primary reasons for such an early awakening — the pursuit of education or the demands of a job. In my situation, it's the former that nudges me from the comfort of my bed. Today is Monday, marking the start of a new academic week, and I must reluctantly rouse myself into action.

To give you a bit of insight, my girls and I are all in the same academic year, but our paths diverge when it comes to our chosen fields of study. Irene and I are navigating the world of business, while Nayeon and Sana are delving into the realm of Psychology. Our dear Rosie, affectionately known as our 'Chipmunk', is exploring the intricate landscape of Political Science. We are all pursuing our respective degrees at the highly respected YG International University.

Let me share a brief snapshot of our University. It's an institution that embraces diversity, welcoming students from all backgrounds. However, as is often the case, there are always a few individuals who seem to take pleasure in making life difficult for others. You understand what I mean, right? The University itself extends a warm welcome, but the reception from some of the older students can be less than friendly.

Our University enjoys a stellar reputation and is one of the most renowned institutions in South Korea. It boasts a clean record, a competitive environment, and a host of other commendable attributes. However, one mystery remains — the identity of the founder or owner of the school is unknown to us.

With that said, it's time for me to start my preparations.

An hour later, I'm fully prepared for the day. I take a moment to appraise my reflection in the mirror.

"Even in the simplest of outfits, you can still turn heads!" I wink at my reflection, giving myself a well-deserved compliment.

Feeling satisfied, I make my way downstairs to fuel up with a hearty breakfast.

"Good morning, honey! Come join us for breakfast," my Mom greets me with her usual warmth.

"Did you have a restful night, my princess?" Dad asked, his voice filled with affection.

I responded by giving both of them a kiss before I took my seat at the breakfast table.
