THIRD PERSON'S POV
At TCluxe
"You don't seem bored at all in that state," Mrs. Minatozaki sarcastically comments, casting a glance at her husband strolling beside her as they explore TCluxe, a trendy new fashion boutique.
"It's not that I'm bored, honey. It's just that after more than 22 years of accompanying you on shopping trips, I still find myself pondering how you make use of all the things you buy. Can you even recall what you purchased last week?" Mr. Minatozaki sincerely remarks, eliciting a giggle from his wife.
Mrs. Minatozaki gently clasped her husband's arm, leaning in closer. "Of course I remember, and I actually use everything I buy, honey. I wouldn't purchase things that I won't eventually put to good use. Besides, if our beloved daughter were here instead of at the company, you wouldn't be bored," she remarked, her eyes scanning the boutique.
"Hon, you know Sunday is her training day. And right now, she's with her grandfather, who's looking after her," Mr. Minatozaki replied, stealing a glance at his wife.
"I hope she's enjoying herself and not just feeling obligated because she's the sole heir of the Minatozaki family," Mrs. Minatozaki said, a small smile gracing her lips.
"I'm sure she is. You know how she aspires to follow in our footsteps while pursuing her passion for psychology. We never forced her, honey. She wholeheartedly commits herself without any influence from us," Mr. Minatozaki assured, releasing his arm from Mrs. Minatozaki's grasp and placing it gently on her shoulder for reassurance.
Mrs. Minatozaki took a deep breath and beamed, nodding at her husband.
"I think I'm done here. I've managed to find everything I had in mind. I'll let our beloved daughter know that I've discovered a new fashion brand that will perfectly suit her style," Mrs. Minatozaki said, glancing at her husband's hands, which were occupied with paper bags, with a joyful smile.
"Are you sure? This seems like a smaller number of paper bags than usual, honey," Mr. Minatozaki jokingly remarked.
Mrs. Minatozaki chuckled mischievously. "I'm absolutely certain it's enough. Plus, we better make a swift exit before your eyebrows declare an all-out war on each other," she playfully quipped.
From the moment they stepped foot into the boutique, Mr. Minatozaki's face became a living portrait of bewilderment, his eyebrows almost merging in confusion. He was genuinely puzzled by his wife's relentless shopping addiction. Mrs. Minatozaki never failed to notice this amusing sight every time she convinced him to accompany her on a shopping spree.
Mr. Minatozaki couldn't resist and playfully recreated the same bewildered expression, causing Mrs. Minatozaki to burst into laughter.
"Alright, let's go now. And as a token of my appreciation for joining me today, I'll whip up whatever dish your heart desires," Mrs. Minatozaki said, her voice filled with sweetness as she lovingly caressed her husband's side, wrapping her arms around his waist.
