The atmosphere in the palace had shifted from one of shock to a growing, palpable tension. Shivansh, unable to sit still, was pacing restlessly across the stone floor, his mind racing with dark thoughts and desperate hopes. Every second felt like an eternity as he replayed everything in his mind, trying to make sense of what had happened and how it could be resolved. His hands clenched and unclenched, his breath coming in shallow, uneven bursts. He could feel the panic rising within him, threatening to consume what little control he had left.

Outside in the expansive hall, the police had arrived, their presence adding a sense of gravity to the situation. Officers moved through the palace, speaking quietly among themselves, their radios crackling with updates. Uday Singh and Armaan were engaged in a tense conversation with the lead officer, their faces a mix of concern and determination. Uday Singh's usual calm was strained, his eyes betraying the worry he felt for his son and the young women they all cared so deeply about. Armaan, usually the one with a joke or a reassuring smile, was all business, his demeanor serious as he tried to piece together any clues that might help find Keya and Suhana.

In the corner of the room, Catherine was doing her best to comfort a distraught Sayunkta. She held her gently, whispering soothing words that barely registered through Sayunkta's panic. Sayunkta's eyes were wide, filled with tears that threatened to spill over at any moment. Her hands trembled as she gripped Catherine's arm, her mind racing with terrible possibilities. Catherine's voice, usually so composed, was laced with emotion as she tried to reassure her friend that everything would be okay, even as her own heart was weighed down with fear.

Dev stood nearby, his posture tense and rigid. He was trying to be strong, trying to be the rock that Shivansh and everyone else needed, but inside he was unraveling. The anxiety gnawed at him, every worst-case scenario flashing through his mind.

His thoughts kept circling back to Suhana—her smile, her laughter, the way she made everything seem brighter—and the possibility of losing her was unbearable.

He ran a hand through his hair, his jaw clenched as he tried to hold it together, but the cracks were beginning to show. His eyes kept flicking to Shivansh, who looked as if he was barely holding on, and Dev felt his own resolve weakening.

The palace, once filled with warmth and laughter, now felt cold and ominous, the heavy silence punctuated only by the distant murmur of the police and the soft cries of Sayunkta. Every corner seemed to hold shadows that were darker than before, every echo more haunting. Shivansh's restlessness grew with each passing minute, the weight of the unknown pressing down on him. The walls of the palace, once a place of refuge and love, now felt like a prison as the minutes dragged on with no news.

As Shivansh turned to face the others, his eyes met Dev's, and for a moment, both men were united in their shared despair. There were no words that could capture what they felt, no actions that could ease the pain, but in that silent exchange, they understood each other completely.

They were both breaking, but they were also both refusing to give up. Not yet. Not while there was still hope, however fragile it might be.

The tension in the air was almost unbearable as the police prepared to launch a search party. Officers were gathering near the palace entrance, coordinating their efforts, and the gravity of the situation weighed heavily on everyone present. Shivansh's restlessness had reached its peak, his eyes scanning the room for any sign, any clue, that might lead them to Keya and Suhana. Dev, though trying to remain composed, was fraying at the edges, his thoughts a chaotic whirl of fear and desperation.
