"That guy keeps following us," Curtis said, showing his displeasure while carrying Dan-yin, moving faster than the others.

"He said he has a city... shouldn't it be good to go there?" she suggested, trying to soften his heart.

listen! don't blame me if those men look like this; every person who approaches me is always a good man.!!...and don't blame me if their tidd- i mean their personality is good!!

"Furthermore, winter is coming. The safest place right now is with him, right?" Dan-yin said, rubbing his face and kissing it softly.

"I still don't like him," Curtis complained again. "If you don't like him, just think of me... it's not like we'll be staying with him." she blinked her eyes trying to make he agree.

Arran smiled, listening to their conversation. He was sure the snake would be gone by winter, giving him a chance to persuade Dan-yin in his absence. He still needed to be cautious of Winston; the tiger was strong.

Arran had been following the group since yesterday, undeterred by their dislike, just wanting to be closer to her.

"My citys is not that far if we fly." Arran remarked, shattering the silence. Harvey glanced at him, puzzled.

"What's the name of the city?" Harvey asked for confirmation. He knew there were a few powerful cities in the world but needed to hear it from this beastman.

The moment they heard "Soren City," they stopped and stared at Arran. Did he really mention Soren City, the place rumored to have a dragon ruler? It was known for its formidable beastmen and selective acceptance of newcomers.

"Didn't he say his city? Does that mean..."

"What's is Soren City?" Dan-yin whispered, unfamiliar with it since she never heard it from the manhua. Curtis glanced down, recognizing her confusion.

"It's a much safer place than Beast City. I've never been there either."

"So... should we go there?"

"We can, little one," Arran smiled, clearly pleased.

"Back off," Winston warned as he noticed Arran getting closer to Dan-yin.

they fighting a bit whether to go or not, lastly they decide to go with Dan-yin flying with Muir and the rest will be run towards the city.As they took off, Muir and Dan-yin soared high above the treetops, feeling the wind whip around them, an exhilarating rush that left their worries momentarily at bay. Below, the others gathered their strength, their hearts pounding as they sprinted towards the distant glimmer of the city. The sounds of nature faded, replaced by the echo of their own footsteps and the urgency of the situation.

Arran mentioned it would take them about a week if they barely stopped, making Dan-yin dizzy with the constant flying. She clearly wasn't a fan of being so high up.

"I don't want to..." she whined when they insisted on moving right after lunch. It felt like a weeks had passed—how much longer could she endure this flying? No more!

Her husband's circled around her while she sat on the grass, pouting with her big belly. She often did this when she was tired, and Curtis and Harvey knew nothing would make her move unless they listened to her now.

It was worse when her mood swings hit during early pregnancy, and mostly Harvey had to deal with it since it was his cubs.

"Then what do you prefer?" Harvey asked, rubbing her cheek gently to coax her. He knew she was exhausted.

"Walking? Riding me? Or being carried by Curtis?"

"Curtis."

"Curtis? Then it's Curtis."

Curtis effortlessly scooped her up as if she weren't carrying any cubs and slid off with her.

"I always forget that our female is quite young and needs more attention and loves being pampered," Curtis said, trying to tease her.

"She is a baby, remember?" Winston chimed in, enjoying the term "baby" a bit too much! Dan-yin always weakens when Winston calls her that... if she weren't pregnant, she'd likely be screaming his name.

"She is."

"We need to pamper her more after this," Muir said, glancing at Dan-yin's rosy cheeks after the teasing. He was glad to see her happy again after her earlier fatigue.

Arran watched the playful interaction  and wondered how they could live like that. In his long life, he'd never seen a female treat a male as an equal or joke with him in such a way. Typically, males fought for female attention, but these batters seemed to share her and collaborate to make her happy without conflict.

'how nice'

"Don't touch me!" Bai slapped away the hand reaching for her, disgusted at being touched by a beastman she barely knew.

"Your opinion is not valid here, female!" the angry beastman retorted, throwing her into a small room.

"Let me out, you stupid beastman!" she yelled after he closed and locked the door. she bang the door loudly making the beastman more dislike towards her.
