Dan-yin initially thought having two cubs wouldn't be too bad, but everything changed when they kept crying non-stop. She found herself waking up in the middle of the night to their cries.

Looking at the two cubs in their enclosure, she mused, 'Cats often have many babies... I once had five kittens, and look at me  now I have two leopard cubs.' She sighed, feeling exhausted.

'I might be crazy if we have a daughter' she added with another sigh.

"Ayin, I'll take care of them for you," Winston said as he woke up to help soothe the cubs. Dan-yin felt a surge of happiness seeing him carry one, he made fatherhood look effortless. She was grateful to all her mates, who supported her without complaint.

"Why don't you go back to sleep and rest?" Harvey suggested as he cradled the other cub. He knew she was tired and wished he were stronger to hunt colossal for her. Gradually, she drifted back to sleep.

"I'll hunt colossal for her tomorrow," Winston said seriously, unable to bear Dan-yin's exhaustion.

Harvey nodded in agreement, thinking it was the best course of action for her.

Next morning,

Dan-yin woke up early to wash up and prepare to feed the cubs that Harvey had placed in the basket. She picked one up and opened her dress slightly for them to nurse.

As the cubs slowly drank from her, she affectionately gazed at them, still in disbelief that she had leopard babies....who would ever thought that? no one!

Her husband's watched her with longing eyes, having not been intimate with her in a while. Muir and Shuu, in particular, hadn't mated with her yet. She had promised them that she would once she gave birth, they just needed to wait for her green light~

"S-stop looking!" she said feeling embarrassed with them, their eyes can't seem to take off from her breast.

"Don't blame us yiyi.." Winston said while licking his lips.Dan-yin felt her cheeks heat up as she caught Winston's gaze lingering longer than necessary. The sound of her cubs suckling filled the room, but the heat of her husbands' stares was a palpable thing, making her skin prick with awareness.

"Yiyi," Shuu said softly, leaning against the doorframe, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "You know we can't help ourselves when we see you like this."

Muir stepped closer, the warmth of his presence enveloping her. He reached out, his fingers brushing against the soft fur of the cubs. "They're beautiful, just like you."

"Just don't forget your promise," Muir chimed.

"still...stop looking like that!" she turn her body away from their eyes, making them whine when they can't see her front.

"i wonder if i have two baby or more than that" she shake her head when she heard their whine.

Curtis slowly emerged from the room, looking weak and sleepy. He approached Dan-yin and rested his head on her lap.

"Hello, Mister Curtis," she giggled softly, rubbing his head. Curtis smiled faintly and snuggled against her tummy while she breastfed the cubs. "Ayi... I think I'll go hibernate tomorrow," he said, causing Dan-yin to freeze.

"So soon? Must you go?" she replied sadly. Just when they had found rest and a nice home, he had to leave. She gently set the cubs down and adjusted her top.

"I'll be back sooner than you think," Curtis reassured her, wanting to ease her worries about his departure. He hugged her tightly, knowing he would be gone for a while.Dan-yin sighed softly, her heart heavy as she glanced down. "But I will miss you," she murmured, brushing her fingers gently through the cubs fur. The thought of him slipping away into the cold, dark silence of winter didn't sit well with her, even if she understood the rhythms of nature that guided his instincts.

"I know," Curtis replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

Curtis leaned in closer, pressing his forehead against hers. "I promise, I will return. I'll find my way back to you." he said with heartfelt sincerity, the bond between them reassuring him as much as it did her.

Dan-yin felt a wave of sadness at his news. He was the first person she met when she first time arrive in here and the only man she truly trusted. His absence was daunting, and she wished she could go with him.... 'curtis....'

"P-please... come back quickly and be safe..." she pleaded, holding him close and inhaling his scent. 'Just a few days apart already makes me miss you... how will I survive for months?' she thought as she buried her face in his long hair.

"I will return, and I'll be stronger," he promised.
