It took them a few days to reach the city, and as they arrived, the beastman guarding the entrance readily opened the gate. The city was much better than expected, with many things they had never seen before. Muir, still carrying Dan-yin, observed the bustling streets filled with beastmen selling their wares, noting how differently they dressed compared to those from the beast city.

"Mmm?"

"You're awake," Muir said softly as Dan-yin began to stir.

"Where are we? It's so noisy..." she murmured, hearing the arguments around her.

"Curtis is arguing with Arran," he replied, gesturing towards them. Dan-yin turned her head, frowning. "What's going on...?"

Their argument paused at the sound of her voice.

"Ayin, don't listen to this lizard," Curtis said, slithering toward her, eager to carry her.

"Lizard?" Dan-yin asked, confused. 'Is there a lizard beastman here?'She glanced around, searching for unfamiliar faces but found none.

"Do we have lizard beastmen?" Her innocent question left the group in silence.

Suddenly, Winston chuckled softly.

"Ayi, you look so cute," he said, ruffling her hair.

"Yiyi, tell me you don't want to stay at the castle. That lizard is trying to take you," Curtis insisted, clearly unwilling to let Dan-yin go to Arran.

'Is he jealous? He never minded me accepting others before...' Dan-yin thought, noticing his change in behavior since meeting Arran.

"I'm not a lizard! I'm a dragon," Arran declared, annoyed at Curtis.

Curtis tightened his grip on Dan-yin.

"No."

"Little one."

'Oh come on... don't do this to me...'

In the end, they all end up staying at the house near the castle since Curtis insists on staying outside.

Dan-yin slowly walks around the new house, exploring what she can do with it. Behind her, Parker and Harvey follow closely, ensuring she's okay.

"Are you staying here?" Harvey quietly asks Parker. Parker, wanting to escape Beast City, realizes he doesn't have to follow them unless he likes her.
